from what song does this this chord progression come from? or is it just a standard chord progression in a certain music genre? http://moose.linux-coders.org/progression.mp3

It's a 12-bar blues, though there's a bit of an alteration in the 9th bar to the "stock" form (there have been many modifications to 12 bar blues forms over the years).Count_fuzzball wrote:from what song does this this chord progression come from? or is it just a standard chord progression in a certain music genre? http://moose.linux-coders.org/progression.mp3

Steve is 100% correct, but note its 12-bar blues modified to fit in 8 bars instead of 12.
