I am happy to announce that the Prepared Rhodes will be available for both Kontakt 3 and Battery 3. I've often been asked for these 2 formats and they should be ready in a week or two.

They will cost $19.99 US for both. Owners of one of the currently available formats will be able to sidegrade and get these 2 new formats for only $5.

These 2 new formats will not simply be conversions, they both will have new specific kits/programs.

Great. Count me in. K3 is a fine vehicle. You should offer some of your other excellent sets in that format. And I would bet you're smart enough to do something creative with the scripting so you could charge more. Merely a thought.

As you may have seen, I also currently have the Chromatic Hits, Sidekick and the brand new Out There sets for K3. And I will certainly add more.
I don't know if it's because I'm not smart enough

but for now I don't have the patience or the time to get into scripting. But if I keep adding more kits/programs done with the stretching engine, I may end up charging more anyway!

I have finished making the kits/presets. Besides the 5 regular or basic kits that are like playing the actual Prepared Rhodes, meaning that each key has a different sound.

I also created 67 kits made from one sound mapped across the keyboard including some random and round robin variations that can be played chromatically with the sampler's engine speeding or slowing down the playback speed of the samples thus varying the lenght.

On top of that, I've added 47 kits using Battery's stretch mode which uses granular synthesis to alter sample speed while preserving the original pitch information, some pretty interesting results.

The Kontakt 3 version is basically the same but with 55 programs using the Time Machine mode instead of 47.

They're ready and available, see first post for links and demo.

Both have over 115 kits/patches including 67 semituned instruments and 47 (55 for K3) extra patches where the samples are twisted and warped with their granular synthesis engine. The results vary from clean sounds evocative of traditional instruments keys to weird SFX.

The soundfont version has salso been updated and now has more semituned instruments.
