still, your efforts are commendable, and well within the spirit of the challenge. if i had two raisins, i would have eaten them.blortblort wrote:I know I said that I used 3 raisins.
I lied.
I didn't have 3. I only had 2. and I didn't use the broken glass either. I just wanted to sound cool. sorry. I should have been more honest in the first place.

I may get back into composing because of this. Oh and I like "Smooth Analog Warmth" the best - had to listen to it twice.

OK, I'm done .... as is my CPU capacity!!!

All sounds via 11 instances of Mr Alias ( ... about 5 too many for my system!
)
Host ... FL8
Fx ... 3x mda dynamics, 2x Ariesverb. Hosts EQ.
No automation, No sampling, Not a lot of mixing, and not a lot of effort either!!!
enjoy!

mr alias definity has its use in my studio as a bio-mechanical sounding atmo synth. as does scanned synthBFunKu wrote:Is Mr. Alias suppose to sound like Complete Chaos? This Synth can't be tamed I swear!? How and the Hell do you use this thing to actually make somewhat "Normal" Music? Or is this just some Experimental/Glitch/Chaos Novelty Synth? And I thought Scanned Synth was the most Uncontrollable and Obnoxious sounding Synth ever. This definitely takes the Crown in that department though. I think this thing as way more uses as an actual Effect rather than a Synth?

Wish I had more time to think about 'taming' it ... all the same, I like its resistance to compromise .... does a nice bass though!

You better like this RG_IOY because I'll not touch this crap again.

Drums with SR202
Effects on the 'pad': BufferOveride, KillerGate+, Glaceverb & AngelinaFx
All the rest Mr Alias & Mr Alias2
Edit: hope you don't mind an over 6 minutes track (I made it short this time).
