Tweaking start options - start minimized

It would be neat to have a start option "start minimized"... or did I miss this anywhere?

When using the auto start option to automatically start Cantabile on logging into Windows there's an option to run minimized.

For normal launch you're supposed to be able to use the options in the shortcut, but I just noticed it not working... I'll try to address that in the next build.

You mean "execution option" - "Minimized"... in a shortcut? ...right, that does not work with Cantabile.

I've tried starting Cantabile as a minimized process programmatically which seems not to work either, I guess that's the same bug...

It's not a big issue anyway, but maybe you can fix this anytime... :D

Start minimized seems to work now. Start maximized as well... :tu:

There's just a small box popping up for a millisecond or so on the main monitor... :D

...maybe it would be a good thing to show the startup popbox on minimized start long enough one can read or at least better notice it... :D

That flash you see is the progress notification for the scan of the the VST folder. As long as nothing has changed since last time, it shows for mere milliseconds. It also flashes when opening the program maximized, but then one is distracted by the program screen opening instantly afterward, so it's not so noticeable.

If you really want the flash to show longer, make some major change in your VST folder; that forces the scan to pause while it analyzes a complex new VST, for example. You can stop it from showing at all, by turning off the auto-scan of your VST's.

But it's just Cantabile house-keeping, not a thing to think about.
