Does anyone know if there are any good quality stereo delay VST plugins like Ohmforce Ohmboyz?

- It must have filters and distortion
- Sustain Loop-button (basically a button for 100% Feedback and No Input).
- MIDI-CC support (Ohmboyz does not have this for the Sustain Loop-button, and I cant use for live-performance because of that.)

I sometimes use Togu Audio Line's TAL-Dub, but it doesn't have enough functions compared to Ohmboyz and also not the same sound.

There must be other stereo delays that are equally good since Ohmboyz is from 2001 :)

Any suggestions?

I could pay atleast 50 euros for a good delay with TRUE MIDI-CC support.

why not just use ohmboyz? It's awesome.

But yeah, you should be able to do that stuff in MFM2.

Does MFM2 have a loop feedback/kill input switch? I'm looking on the GUI, but not finding it.

You can build it, e.g. using the envelopes or the Gate modulator. I think Tasmaniandevil has made some of these. I guess justin3am will have some, too...

Timeless 2 can do this, too.

If you're looking for the most badass audio looper known to computer kind, there's always Mobius, though it doesn't do much in terms of pitch and time modulation.

Audio Damage's Dubstation has a freeze button, and basic filtering, but no distortion. It's only $39, and it does kick a lot of ass.

As I said, Ohmboyz MIDI-CC support is not very good at all. But maybe you know how to control the Sustain Loop-button with MIDI-CC? PLEASE TELL ME :)

(NOT NRPN and NOT automation within sequencer)

I'll checkout MFM2.

The trouble with MFM2 on this one is that it requires more than a simple button press to activate, so assigning to a MIDI CC will be a pain.

Timeless 2 has a freeze button on the interface, and it's in the paramter list that the host sees, so MIDI CC assignment should be easy.

I solved it with OhmBoyz!! But boy... I have tried for straight 8 hours. Doesn't seem to work with Cubase SX3. But it DOES work with Cubase 5. :)

This is how to get the Sustained Loop-button working with a Remote Device (for example a Behringer BCR2000, in Cubase 5:
1. For OhmBoyz in simple dualmode (stereo) the right Flags/values for Sustained Loop is: "BT 2" = 48 and "BT 2 SL" = 56. Observe that it is different values for different presets/setups, you have to check what is right for your own preset.

2. Add a MIDI-channel with OhmBoyz as MIDI Output.

3a. Open Device Setup.../Generic Remote.
3b. If you have OhmBoyz as an Insert effect, on lets say, Synth1/Channel1,
choose "Mixer" and the Synth1/Channel1 as Channel/Category.
3c. Select Ins/OhmBoyz and "Flags" as Value/Action.

4. Setup your Remote Device to switch between MIDI CC value 48 (SL = off) and 56 (SL = on).
