If one starts Cantabile minimized it would be helpful to have an entry "Open Setlist" in the tray menu to just open the SetList window instead of first opening cantabile window, opening the setlist window an closing cantabile window again...

Another little tweak I would like:
If one starts Cantabile minimized it would be helpful to have an entry "Open Setlist" in the tray menu to just open the SetList window instead of first opening cantabile window, opening the setlist window an closing cantabile window again...

Good. It would be nice to make it a little easier to get a set list open in general. At the moment, I need three clicks to load one. That's not the worst possible thing, but I keep wishing the list of set lists were closer to the top of the menu chain.bradr wrote:Shouldn't be too difficult...
Perhaps we could have things so that the last set list used in the previous session could open automatically with the program next time?
Or could the name of a preferred set list be saved with a session, opening whenever that session is called?

Interesting idea... so I think this is only useful if the setlist has only entries to the sessions subsessions... otherwise this would lead to a "spaghetti" referencing of sessions and setlists...lallis wrote:...

Yes, I'm afraid you're right. In the Solo version, we have no subsessions, so there be less opportunity for chaos in that version.TiUser wrote:...I think this is only useful if the setlist has only entries to the sessions subsessions... otherwise this would lead to a "spaghetti" referencing of sessions and setlists...
Really, all I wish for is a way to get a set list loaded more quickly than is possible at present. It is not a very pressing matter, and I may even be wrong about how difficult it now is, if I have missed some available menu or command.

Let me know how you organize your performances...
Are you creating a SetList (former sessionlist) for each song? ...for a performance block of several songs? ...how are you doing this?

I'm only using it as a list of sessions, 10 different virtual pianos, with no songs pre-loaded.TiUser wrote:Are you creating a SetList (former sessionlist) for each song? ...for a performance block of several songs?
I just want to switch arbitrarily and easily from -- for example -- Akoustik Piano Bechstein to Garritan's Authorized Steinway as the mood dictates.
MIDI backing-track files are opened separately as the mood dictates, to play with the piano of the moment.

Build 2041 available now has ability to load set list from the set list drop down on the main and from the tray icon context menu.

See what I mean? Better and better.bradr wrote:Build 2041 available now has ability to load set list from the set list drop down on the main and from the tray icon context menu.
Thanks for improving that small inconvenience.

Wow, nice addons...
However, what I asked for was much simpler... just alike "Open Cantabile" an entry in the tray menu for "Open Cantabile Setlist Window" to just show the setlist window - without opening the main window...
