There are 3 files in the skins folder, the mimic xml file/mimic effects bmp/mimic synth bmp.....But none of them is seen by Atlantis??

I created a new 'skin' folder in Atlantis, went to config option to redefine a data folder, inserted the .xml and .bmp's there, but then it still only recognizes the default skin

. I'm also on XP.

I tweaked the colors a bit, as i was dreaming for so long about a dark & light grey skin with some orange, so here it is, if anyone is interested ?

More shades of colour with an appropriate shade. That works a bit better.

i cant get limeflavours skin to work either,it always shows up with the default skain

do you have the latest version of Atlantis? 'Cause custom skins is a new feature, it will not work on previous versions of the synth.

Also, if you want, i have organized some presets i had on my HD (mine and other people's work, sorry, i can't rememember who, but i guess most of them are from MaliceX), and compiled it all in a convenient zip archive :
