yea, I never rename dll's and my Ableton with Multicore Support easily ran about 15 instances of Minimogue VA, in another project it was like 5 instances of Genesis CM... not a single crash
Soundbanks: Sylenth, V-Station, Z3TA+, Toxic Biohazard - good EDM Soundbanks

The developer would be in his right mind to never make another freebie again.
Especially when he realises he's been misled into believing his plugs are broken and cause ear bleeding and speaker melting.
Anyone gone deaf or lost their ns10's yet? No, didn't think so.

Nope! Just stating the obvious.
Anyone on here using the free polish plugs had any major issues regarding ear breaking loudness? The silence will no doubt be more deafening than the plugs ever were.
Every user comment I've read says no - Make from that what you will.
If at my most cutting, I'd say it was an opportunity to muscle in on some instant classics plugs - Nothing more or less.
The developer should/will know about it, then it's up to him to decide the fate of his plugs, with all the facts minus elaboration.
I'd like to see the vsti's in the hands of a true synth edit programmer that knows his stuff (instead of the first that went asking with his hand out) - Imagine the possibilites.

Suggestion to DNA for Tapeotronic: those are looped samples. How about a switch to cut it to original 8 second loops to mimic the actual thing?
Some people like it the original way, some like it looped. Why not give an option to both kinds of people?

+1 not observing the "loud noise" problem. I'm thankful DNA's offered to improve them; it's more work than I would want to volunteer right now. But I don't understand why they're not all still accessible as-is.
I think personal acceptance of possible tragedy is implicit whenever we use anything technical, even when we drive to work in the morning. That wouldn't stop me from accepting a new (nice-looking!) car someone wanted to give away.

Yea, I just made all this up to spoil your freeware fun.
I don't even use these things. I have nothing whatever to gain from interfering in any way shape or form with their availability. I only reported what happened to me multiple times (which had never happened before and hasn't happened since using any other plug-ins).
And I wasn't the only one who had sudden volume increases. Go back and read the thread again.

Didn't mean to offend you, AM Gold!
I think you may have misread my post; I'm sure the problems you have had are real, and I'm sure many others have suffered from them too. Yet, I haven't had any, and many others haven't too.
I'm not trying to deny you the trouble you've experienced, any more than I'd tell someone who just had a car wreck that since I didn't have an accident that cars aren't dangerous. And I do appreciate your warning; because of you I made sure the volume was lowered when I tried them the first time, which might have helped save my speakers if I had been one of the unlucky ones.
I still wouldn't turn down a free car, though, even if it was the same model that someone I read about on KVR had an accident in though!

I was responding to an earlier post on this page, which was implying that there was no real loudness/distortion bug.
There certainly was for me and I haven't touched these plug-ins since because I'm afraid I don't have a lot of time for complicated testing and I honestly don't want to deal with that noise again.
That's not to say I won't try some testing soon, since I support what DNA is trying to do in sorting out problems with these, but I've been busy with a lot of my own studio work in recent weeks.
Just so everyone knows, it was the developer's wish to have these plug-ins pulled from public access. He never wanted them to be public anyway---he made them for personal use. I didn't urge him on either way, I just told him what happened to me.
