Actually a pretty nice looking skin. Maybe I will enjoy the plugin version of "Atlantis" a bit better this time. Then again, I used a pretty old version back in the day. So thanks.

BTW Reverse Engineer:
I can't download from your host, asks me to insert a security code, then loads the new page but all I get is a "test for 7 days" button. Any chance to upload this thing to another service without the need of signing up?

Sorry about that, i never use these services, and assumed an account wasn't needed. I (think) i found one where you don't need an account to upload/download. Hopefully this will work.

Worked, thanks.

Hey, suddenly it looks nice enough that you get the desire to tweak around. :)

Post

Skins are updated for the new version 0.9O of Atlantis.
The new version have implemented the "old" delaybox instead of the new flashing one so the skins needed to be tweaked slightly.
You can get them on [flavours of lime] or from the [box].

Thank you Limeflavour. :hyper: Your skins are amazing.

Beautiful work as always Limeflavour ;). I like and will use the "Avenger" one as I like darker skins. I've been waiting for these darker skins to finally start using Atlantis more. The arrangement of the modules is also much better IMHO.

Thank you very much!

I relaly like the new skin, is it possible to change the text color via the .xml file?
I would like a bright color, white or light gray/green, over the olive and dark-olive
sections, just for readability. I editied the text color numbers near the top of the xml file a few times/ways, and reloaded Atlantis, but nothing visually changed. Any hints are greatly appreciated.
Cheers :)

If you want to change the textcolor you need to edit this line: <textcolor red="30" green="30" blue="30" alpha="255"/> (somewhere at the top of the xml file). It does affect all the text, I do not know if it's possible to change specific sections though..

I haven't tried this, but maybe you can add the textcolor line of code to the actual button code in the layout section.

I now have readable text everywhere except in the effects section, using

<textcolor red="000" green="255" blue="255" alpha="255"/>

but the labels of sliders are not effected by color changes, maybe they are fixed graphics elements which are dark olive on black, or black on dark olive. If these were white on dark, then all would be readable. The slider labels in
the oscillator section also do not change, but are black on light olive, and easy to read.

I have the same issue with SonicSynth2, if changes are possible, old-timers might still crank out some tunes with Atlantis sans the squinting.
Anything more I can do in the xml file?

I'll look for the button code in the meantime

Cheers :)
edit, it was easier to gimp up the gui .bmp file, than to sus out all the text combos,
not perfect, but I'll tweak it more next weekend :) one hour til Monday :-o

I like the skins. There's a new Atlantis up with PNG support for skinning. Alphas work for fader highlights, knobs, lights, etc. I'm excited to see what you guys do with it.

Then I'll have to "improve" my skins ;)

The skins are updated and use the new png+transparency files.
Changing the skin take too much time so this update fixes only some small problems.
- Small glitches around the sliderhandles are fixed
- Leds have small amount of glow.
- Extra skin pack #1 , 4 new color variations (only displays)

Be sure to download the latest version of Atlantis, since there was a small bug
in Atlantis 0.9P Jeremy released another build of the same version just a few days ago.
