Well, it's OK then but I always thought, everything is crackable till I read, latest synchrosoft code has not been.
Under special circuits I meant the special and unique character and architecture of a synth. Probably I'm a bit noob hardware-wise
That's what i thought from those youtube vids. Definitely has the raw quality in the filters. The mp3 demos sound quite tame by comparison...masstronaut wrote:Sounds a lot like the Blofeld to me.
It's not just about the resonance / drive / self-osc with that filter. Put some harmonically complex material (like say two moving wavetables FMing each other) through it and you'll hear.
rob_lee, sounds like a request to me.daradei wrote:thoshu wrote:musikmachine wrote:![]()
nice try but show me hypersaw with reverb playing a decent trance melody
really looking forward to some preset-porn as soon as someone gets their hands on it... I ain't dare to say tweak-teaser since those horrible official videos likemusikmachine wrote:rob_lee, sounds like a request to me.daradei wrote:thoshu wrote:musikmachine wrote:![]()

Just tell me how the arp is, and post some music when you get your hands on it.
And be gentle, we trying very hard not to crack a safe nowadays.........
Well, in digital domain, the architecture of a synth is defined by its programming, i.e. immaterial thing independent of any kind of hardware.daradei wrote:Under special circuits I meant the special and unique character and architecture of a synth.
It is not a question of belief. Any algorithm can be reproduced on any compatible hardware with exact same result, it's just how digital stuff works. In particular, any digital synth can be exactly reproduced as VSTi, should its developer choose to do so.daradei wrote:Probably I'm a bit noob hardware-wisebut I don't believe Virus, Nord Lead or Roland V-Synth could be reproduced as VSTi-s.
The simplest answer - they don't care to bother with all the VST stuff. It's not like they can wave a magic wand and make VST version instantly appear out of nowhere; doing a VST requires a lot of work and they are already busy with hardware and don't care about anything else as they're already making lots of money.daradei wrote:Why did they release Virus POWERCORE, not simply a VST in the past? to keep it expensive?
