This is definitely not true. In my opinion Largo has a quality that komplexer can only dream of!
Nice to hear it. That is why it consumes more CPU? I think YES....

One computer use so far. If you wantr to use it on several, you have to transfer the license onto a dongle.

Hey Zvenx read this from the manual:

Activation of Largo
Largo uses a software based copy protection called
eLicenser. Largo can only run with an activated license.
Whether you install Largo on a Mac or Windows
computer you will need to activate the software.
1. As the last step in the installation, the License Control
Center is opened.
2. Open the Wizards menu and select the License
Download function.
3. Follow the instructions and enter the activation code
that comes with your Largo software.
w You require an internet connection for license
activation.
w If you own a eLicenser Key (e.g. Steinberg Key) you
can transfer the eLicense of Largo permanently to this
Key to use Largo on other computers
. Please read the
documentation of your eLicensert Key.
w Please note the "Read Me!" and "Important Changes"
text files on the Largo CD-ROM, which contain
additional information and/or any changes.

As long as you have a dongle with the licence stored then just plug it in to any of your setups :)

any synth is only as good as the person using it :) end of the day if people don't like it they won't buy it..simple as..

Everyone knows any musical instrument is only as good as the person using it, Rob, but if a developer wants to sell a supposedly state of the art soft synth for $300 they should really try to make the audio demos as enticing as possible. Other comments on this thread have expressed doubts about the Largo audio demos.

Great presets and demos are essential to get a great product across properly. Only I haven't heard any yet. I hope I'm wrong and it's a knockout synth! :)

Does Largo allow you to load your own samples? Just curious. 8)
