sampletank doesnt show up as plugin

Sampletank 2.5 is not showing up in the drop down list in garage band 3.I have made sure component is installed in the correct folder yet it is still only avail as standalone. This is very frustrating any help would be much appreciated.

Starting SampleTank™ 2 in GarageBand 3.x
Launch GarageBand, go to Track / New Track / Software Instrument and click "Create."
Expand the "Details" menu (if it is necessary) and in the "Track Info" window, choose SampleTank™2.x from the "Generator" drop down menu and then click on the "pencil icon."
Open a SampleTank 2 instrument folder and double click on a desired instrument.
To monitor, just click on the virtual keyboard or play via your MIDI controller. To record, click the REC transport button.
This is from the Ik site. Is there something im missing?

Also, just a friendly reminder that you are lucky you got such a detailed bit of advice since this is not an official IK support forum. Sonic Reality creates great sounds in the SampleTank format and is one of the premier IK dealers for sure. Just so your hopes aren't dashed in the future if you don't get similar help here

Did you contact support at IK? I don't want to reiterate that this isn't IK support but I guess I just did. I mistakenly read your own reply as someone else's (the blurb from their site) so since that didn't work you might want to contact IK support (form linked from within your User Area on their site) since it appears most of us don't use ST with GarageBand from the looks of it.
So again, my advice is to contact IK support since this is not their support forum. Thanks!
