Adds something different to my virtual synth setup, which is what I wanted!![]()
There doesn't seem to be a MIDI Learn feature, though!Maybe I haven't looked hard enough... Anyone else found it?
Looks like just 128. There's a Factory Presets folder with 128 of them and there are also a bunch of sound designer's folders but the presets in those are the same as the factory ones. If I find any more I'll let you know...drmesmer wrote:bungabatz, how many presets it has?
Have you tried looking inthe manual?bungabatz wrote:Arrived about an hour ago. Sounds really good! Not as sweet sounding as Sylenth but really punchy. Lots of state of the art presets too! Of course! I emailed Waldorf and they told me: "The Largo parameters have fixed MIDI CCs. You can see the corresponding CC in the head-up display if you move with the mouse over a knob or slider. This makes it easy to setup your hardware controller to the desired CCs."musikmachine wrote:Have you tried looking inthe manual?bungabatz wrote:Arrived about an hour ago. Sounds really good! I thought there'd be more like a 1000 but in a way it's good as there will be more scope for sound banks.drmesmer wrote:128 presets are really poor! Sure ?
I ll have to make a hard job!
Yep, I'm sure. They're all good, original ones, though... I can see Waldorf have worked hard at them.drmesmer wrote:128 presets are really poor! Sure ?

I agree. I actually don't like being bogged down by thousands of mediocre presets, so 128 good ones is fine by me!musikmachine wrote:I thought there'd be more like a 1000 but in a way it's good as there will be more scope for sound banks.drmesmer wrote:128 presets are really poor! Sure ?

@bungabatz, does it have a randomizer?
I think you'll find that half of them are duplicates reorganised into different folders. The preset management system is a little bit confusing...standalone wrote:I don't have Largo , but I've just downloaded the factory presets in Vst3 format from Waldorf's site and there are 245 files .
