Yes MadPsyance! As usual, I'm looking for suggestions, and more importantly, discussion re these, and suggestions/ideas raised previously in OSC threads.
As well as suggestions in previous threads, there are a couple of ideas put to me privately which are well worthy of consideration .... so there will definitely be more comps to come!

Well, I suggested originally one of the Polish synths, but since all those have been taken down, minus a few that have been put back up..I don't know how feasible this really is now. All of my favorite ones (micromoon, juno 6)aren't officially available for everyone yet , although in the original Polish thread someone has a link on page 2 allegedly.
Another neat idea, I think, would be Short Circuit...not technically a synth, but imagine a contest in which the participant is allowed to use Short Circuit plus 1 sample provided in the contest. Seems impossible..unless one realizes the infinite possibilities of re-sampling.
If not short circuit, I really hope the next synth is dead simple...1 page, no 9 point envelopes...it would be a nice contrast to the crystal OSC.

Another idea I had would be the free Kore Player..and the free pack on the NI website. The challenge would be to prove to the preset-haters that creative composition and modulation can turn an instrument with minimal options into an expressive beast with the user's personality engraved on it.

There is also a very interesting suggestion which has been put to me privately. Cant say anything about it right now, but if it all pans out I'm sure it will be something to be excited about. Keep the suggestions coming though, I'm up for organising many more comps, so it's good to have a rolling list of candidates

In keeping with the mucus theme inspired by this cold bug which is determined not to become homeless, it's called 'Blame it on the Bogie'
If the production seems a little clogged/heavy/muddy then it'll at least serve to illustrate the condition of my ears/sinuses

Also tweaked a couple of features/issues in RepRatMulti. You're gonna love this one when you eventually get your head around using it.
As with all the other plugs I've offered as comp prizes, I'm quite willing ( time allowing ) to update/adjust existing features/parameters if anyone finds any aspect/feature difficult to use/control.
Also, if you have entitled yourself to own these by way of entering the appropriate comp(s), I have no probs passing on the project files should you wish to customise/rip/skin etc for your own use .... just gimme a shout!

Holy moly tattie! You may have topped your TAL submission! Did you play a lot of videogames as a kid or listen to a lot of classical or progressive? I'd want to listen to this while playing tetris on crack lol. Great job!

ha ha .... cheers MadPsyance. I think what I tend to produce is reflective of my keen interest in World music, particularly East European and Arabic, and the punk rocker in me still needing a piece of the action!

Based on just two chords.

(5x percussion, 1 bass, 1 drone( kind of ), 2 effects, 1 mystery lead)
Fx :
1 x Reacomp ( Kick and bass )
1 x JB Omniverb ( Send )
No bouncing ! no automation !
Masterbus:
1 x JB Barricade
1 x CLAS
1 x Tls Maximizer.
The REAL nightmare starts at 2:08.

Great stuff MadPsyance
Gonna have another look at that RepRatMulti plug before I dish it up as a prize .... I just wonder if it would be that tiny bit better if the freeze outputs could have push on/release off buttons as well as the latch on/off type .... would give it more of an instrument feel I think .... or maybe I save that feature for an upgrade ... I dunno.
Anyway ... 1 more day ( actually, probably nearer 2 ) days to go!!!!!
