I ll have to make a hard job!
I thought there'd be more like a 1000 but in a way it's good as there will be more scope for sound banks.

@bungabatz, does it have a randomizer?
I agree. I actually don't like being bogged down by thousands of mediocre presets, so 128 good ones is fine by me! :)

There's no randomizer. Would have been a nice feature to have...
How many do ya need to write a song anyway? :hihi:

Well i just installed Largo :)
Only been playing about for an hour or so but it sounds excellent...
A few patches that use 4 layers are a bit cpu heavy but nothing serious.

4 band e.q etc ... the sub oscs sound amazing when they kick in..wavetables galore :) a pretty large GUI everything is easily navigated..

i'll be back later with more...

Have had Largo on order from a local dealer here in the UK for over a week now and they don't have it in yet. Love the Waldorf stuff and have been very impressed with their plugins, although never got round to trying out Komplexer. Expecting great things from Largo. I feel like a little kid who can't wait to open his Xmas presents!!! :P
Windows 10. Asus X99-Pro i7 6950X 10 Core 3GHz (Overclocked to 3.5GHz). Corsair DDR4 64GB Vengeance LPX 2400MHz. RME RayDAT. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970. UAD2 Quad+Octo. Reaper. A couple of plugins.

I don't think so. There are many presets among them that aren't in the factory bank.

I see what you mean, Doc. There are more than 128.

BTW, I like your Headache preset - absolutely bonkers! :D

(That's assuming you're the same DocT, of course...)

Hi,

to speed up the time until the official Largo demo version (30 days testing without limits) will see the light I have made some audio demos of my upcoming "Minimal Techno & Electro" Soundset for the Waldorf Largo!

Have fun!

Demosong 1
Demosong 2
Lead sounds demo
Bass sounds demo
Pad sounds demo
Atmo sounds demo

No external FX and processing, no mastering. Drums taken from Waldorf Attack.

...and this kind of flugzeug-like preset, among the pad sounds demos sounds incredible IMO, especially considering it's likely pure synthesis ! :o

Hi Rob,
unfortunately there is no init bank function. Here is a workaround:
Init a sound and save it as FXP in a new folder. Copy & paste this FXP 127 times (you need fast and strong fingers and a solid computer keyboard). In Largo choose sound program 1. Drag all 128 Init FXPs on the Largos GUI. Voila!

Initialising a sound takes a second or two, while programming a sound takes a minute or two ;) You won't loose too much time if you init each single sound in a bank. Take the few mouse clicks for initialising as a break before you hurry on programming the next sound.
