I tried to copy programs to a shared bank but the entries in the right window doesn't show up.

Hi Steffen,
Just tested myself with a few plugins and couldn't see any issues. What plugin are you having trouble with?

Hi Steffen,
I just tried Superwave and again no problem. Just to confirm, the way it supposed to work is:
1. Load a plugin
2. Select it's tools -> program organiser
3. Double click a program on the left to shift it to the shared bank on the right. (or click the right pointing arrow in the middle).
4. You should be able to shift back to a different slot in the reverse manner.
5. When you close the program organiser and return to Cantabile's main window, when click the program selector, anything in the shared bank should appear in square brackets at the end of the preset list.
6. Loading the shared bank preset should load it over the currently selected program number.
7. The shared bank should persist between runs of Cantabile.
If this is not what you're seeing, where is it going wrong? Any other info on what you're seeing or how to reproduce this would be useful.

Tested on a second Notebook (spare):
Same result. I can put programs to the shared bank, but did not see it.
After closing and reopen the Program Organiser, I saw the entries.

I've been experimenting with this to ... what I get is that it does'nt show in the right side until I "refresh" the dialog box by bringing the workspace into focus ( p organiser goes behind , and or just minimize then bring it back from the taskbar .
Then the program is in the shared area on the right but it's grey and apply button is greyed out too. If I open another instance of the same plug in another rack , then put in a blank .FXB, I can't either get it to load the programm and/or copy it to the blank FXB .
This is with 3 or 4 different VSTI's .
I am behind a few builds ( been busy) so I'm going to update and report back .

Same as BB ; I have to close and then open program organiser for program to show up on the right and it is grey not black ;
It starts out with ...end... but its grey.
They show up in the instrument drop down prog selector with [ brackets] but you can't select them .
I saved entire session with some of the grey program names showing in right hand side of program organiser , but they are not there when restarting app . Makes no differece wheter automatically apply changes is checked.

You're right - there's something definitely broken there. It works fine for me on my development machine, but just tested on another and getting similar problems to what you describe. Leave it with me...

OK, found the problem. I'll fix it for the next build, in the mean time the work around is:
1. In Cantabile Options -> Resources -> Diagnostics.
2. Click the Find Log File button to launch Windows Explorer on Cantabile's settings folder.
3. Create a new sub-folder named: VstSharedBanks
Once created, restart Cantabile and the shared banks should work.
