your failure to understand that there might be issues, doesn't actually mean that there arent any....
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

Well, one thing is clear : nothing is clear. I think that people just need explanations, but actually there's really a lack of communication from KVR's administrators. If they say sincerely what is the problem with DC, we should understand (or we may try).
You can't always get what you waaaant...

ben hasn't had time to reply to my emails that i've sent at various times about dc. i don't know anything so you don't know anything. i'm a volunteer in this whole thing, i don't work for kvr. is that good enough?

Very good enough. Nothing against anybody. Tuz you've always been very nice, no problem.

So let's spread the word :

BEN HAS ACTUALLY NO TIME FOR THAT

That's clear.

i understand this and see what you're saying
i just find it incredibly hard to believe that over more than 3 months ben has not had 5minutes out of his life to spend on this or even read your emails

Its been a few months since i posted anything here at KVR, i have however been waiting quietly and patiently for this DC to start. The whole freeware scene has dried up for a while now, no doubt a lot of developers are holding on to their latest creations waiting to submit them. There should be some good stuff on the way.

How difficult can it be to get this up and running, or at the very least get some sort of official statement?

Post

guys, i want this to take place just as much as you do. i've spent a lot of my money and time and i hate to see it die off like this. unfortunately, my hands are tied. i started a thread in site stuff hoping that ben sees it and replies. i can't do much more than this. sonicase, sorry for the asshole comment. the frustration of not being able to do anything and you pushing the issue without consideration kind of did it for me.

I run 3 web sites, a blog page, a studio (music,art,graphics,and
programming), plus a family & Job. I understand completly. This ia a time to get your internet game right. I feel we gave the internet somthing wonderful. Magizines loved us, and the public ate it up. Life is long and technology is getting better, so no need to worry the game is always alive. :)
