I've been looking for this feature in a vsti forEVER! I soooo need the "bettermaker" algorithm written into all my favorite plugs.
NOW, I'm not so concerned that my edition of Mr Alias PRO will not be professionally cursed! ;)

It is very kind of you, but...

Next time could you please please please put all the patches together in a single zip/rar or bank file? It could save us the hassle of downloading 1 kb file one-by-one + 1 more page + 3 seconds wait each one? Did I mention PLEASE PLEASE?

cool, thanks. i haven't tried the presets yet but for sure it'll help fill up default bank of Mr. Alias Pro. and yes, it would have been easier if they were in a zip file. maybe later today i will upload them to my site that way.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe it's been scientifically proven that looking at pictures of wood causes interference in your brain which cancels out any bad audio frequencies.

shhhhh!!...that's one of my various secrets: my computer is MADE of wood ...and has a crank on the side (I'm so green it hurts)

All software developers should plan this way.

I'm scared that it could actually start to sound analog. :-o :hihi:

Here are the utoaom patches
Keep in mind that
- the distortion brought out a lot of detail (and the level)
- i didn't use some features that would send my CPU completely through the roof (*pokes song title*)(huge parts had to be rendered first anyway, which in turn led to a rather static song structure)
Let's hope the sound improver function works well on these.

Congrats to all you winners! :)

these sound good to me without any distortion. especially "ntronic_siddist." but of course, i was using the pro version. though with the distortion it did remind me of my "heavy metal" guitar pedal with low batteries... maybe i should try to add something like that.

and the next version (2.03) is supposed to have better performance with some features. may or may not be the same ones you're referring to.

i think i just sent out the link to Mr. Alias Pro to all the winners. for all you losers, here is the picture of it again.

most of the presets in the included bank, other than the tattie and ntronic ones, were made using the "Randomize" button and are probably useless.

Downloaded and going onto a track I'm working on right now. It needs something digital.

Those wooden end cheeks - they should be protected by an iLok in case someone tries reskinning the regular version.

it's going to use a parallel port dongle for that vintage "Cubase VST 3.7" sound.

This is the best synthesizer I've ever used. I put it on a track and instantly became cool and popular. Then I used the morph function to make a second preset, put it on another track, and went multi-platinum. This is simply my go-to synthesizer for a warm, professional sound.
