I was reading this thread:

where Rottweiler suggests making interesting pads by using a sample and then modulating the loop point. I have Kontakt -- is it possible to modulate loop points with it? Anyone know how?

You can modulate Start and Loop in Kontakt2 easily.
In the Source Section change "DFO" (by default) to "Sampler", then add Modulation (still in the Source Section) and pick loop start, loop lenght, etc.
Of course the sample should have a loop enabled in order to hear the effect.
