I have to concur about mono - I haven't used a mono track in any of my DAWs in years.

It's been ages since I got around to continuing development of my plugins, but I finally managed to scrounge up some time (this semester has been quite taxing so far...).
Anyways, the plugin is now stereo! (actually dual mono, because I came to the conclusion that a real "stereo link" makes little sense in this case)

Cool, now I can use it to master. The emphasis section is pretty good. Gui wouldn't hurt, but I haven't really tested it much so maybe it'll get a personality of its own despite that.

Very nice Compressor l0calh05t!
I prefer transparent compressors for mastering. It doesn’t roll-ff the bass severely as others I’ve tried. That is the primary reason why I was never fond of compressors. However, yours work close to my URS 1975.
Cheers!

BTW, the emphasis filters allow you to control how much the bass is compressed/saturated. If you decrease the gain on the bass emphasis filter, this will result in a more dynamic bass. If you increase it, bass will be compressed more (and more harmonics of the bass frequencies will be produced if you use the plugin as a waveshaper)

I evaluated your Compressor with my 1975 for 30 minutes without altering the tone controls of your design. I'll explore the rest of the features you mentioned later on this evening.

Feel free to elaborate on your findings
Maybe someone would like to help making a few presets.

Cool. Still haven't used it more than twice, due to the many options. Presets couldn't hurt to have somewhere to tweak it from.

I'd be happy to include a few presets, if anyone makes any. I wish I had the time to make some myself, but I'm somewhat short on time at the moment... (let's just hope this changes sometime soon...)

Yup, this one hits the spot. That bottom shaping section is a good addition, but the wet/dry mix is why I'm into this.
I got my mastering skills pretty much completed now. A gui on this would be killer, especially if it had meters I could watch, but I'm used to all the controls now.
You should make a limiter! Ha ha lol asl rofl imho
