based on a recent inquiry, is there any significant volume of people who would use a "discount price for current customers" on newer products like boing2 and aerophone?
the reason i stopped creating them is because (i would hope it's well known by now that) i generally distribute "over the license" and expect that others do too, which relegates the act of payment to those individuals who are wealthy enough to "purchase" with little consideration for their budget.
it kind of sucks to think that someone would have to scrape up $15 to buy one of my vst.. anyone scraping for that kind of funds (and i know there's lots of you, you know where i'm from too) shouldn't be deciding between nutrition and vst.
which brings me to my second statement..
based on my knowledge of domestic economics, if you've been saying "dang if i had that one vst i can't afford" send me a pm or something explaining your interest. i qualify on honesty, don't waste your time faking it as i won't read the first word.
capitalism is unfair and i do not tolerate it, only endeavour to make it work for as long as those who do believe it sensible retain such epherma.
