It does. There's a lot of synths and effects that run better on an IntelMac that's used as a Windows box than as OSX plugins.

We're trying to resolve this, however so far I've failed to manage 1:1 (Win:OSX) comparison on the same machine. Default windows driver in BootCamp for built-in audio i/o has weak performance (can't go under 1024 frames for output buffer without cracking). And Firewire audio interface (Edirol FA-101) is not selectable in Windows XP SP3. After my vacation I'll try different Windows system. Thanks so much for sharing your experiencea and your patience.

Thanks ttoz,

and yes, bootcamp is nice, indeed very nice, but it is not really what I would recommend for audio under windows.
