My MIDI controller doesn't provide easy buttons for increment/decrement or select MIDI channel, so I'd like to do it in software.
Cantabile provides nice MIDI channel mapping functionality. Any way to dynamically choose or inc/dec between several different MIDI channel mappings based on CC inputs? Or any other suggestions on how to achieve the same thing?
(I want to use this in order to select between various racks via MIDI, for example footswitch or button press.)
How to map CC/button-press to MIDI Channel change?

Hi Rellik,
Probably the easiest way to do this would be to use sub-sessions in Cantabile Performer. Define a bunch of MIDI routing entries that map your external controller to different racks and then enable one routing in each sub-session. You can then use CC's to switch sub-sessions.
I think this would solve your problem without the need for channel remapping at all.
