This song kicks ass! :D

What synth/patch did you use for the bass??
A modified Micromoon patch, i think i started out with the "dirt bass" patch and tweaked from there. Download here:

Glad you liked it :D

The fun shows, it's a great track!! Just like Maxsynths could be the signature tune of a modern TV series, yours makes me think instantly of a series from the 60's, I'm amazed!!! :-o
Do you mind if I keep it? Definitely worth listening to every now and then on the future!

If you're into fairly retro electronic music, you could find something you like on it, it moves between 50's and 70's atmospheres, more or less.
Wow VERY impressive work. Really authentic sounds, one that stood out was the lead saw on "Powerless". Reminded me very much of Claude Larson, and Joël Fajerman.

You should really concider sending a demo to www.ghostbox.co.uk , that record label style is right up you alley!
Hey, thanks! Glad you liked it :) Not sure who the two people you mention are (I'm pretty ignorant, I have to admit :( ), but I'm sure it's a compliment, so thanks :)
I actually release some of my stuff thru a German label ( http://www.syngate.net ), but I'll check out the one you suggested, maybe I could release something thru them, as well :) Thanks!

nice album :tu:
If you're referring to mine, thanks a lot, I appreciate it :)
By the way, tonight my boss gave a cow that looks a bit like a pig and shoots a blue laser from the nose while going mooooo in a slightly kraftwerk-like tone... not holy, but I was quite impressed :o
Anyway, thanks again!!

Hi there!
I played with Elektrostudio synths a lot on an album you can download here for free... (licence CC by-nc-sa 3.0). Actually there's also a lot of other free synths too, Synth1, Organized trio, tapeworm, Dream Sequencer, the sound in the beginning is Triple Cheese...
To give you an idea, t's a kind of mix of Mike Oldfield, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Genesis, Kraftwerk, and a lot of other stuff :D

Very nice album. How much did you pay Mike Oldfield for playing the guitars? Seriously, it really sounds like Genesis invited Oldfield to a recording session. Thanks for sharing!!

Just one question: is it possible that it is slightly overdriven? On my computer it sounds a bit distorted. Maybe you could try to lower the overall volume a bit before mixing everything together. It would be fantastic to have these pieces with a clean sound.

Cheers,
Martin

Hey no problem at all, and thanks for the comments! I recommend downloading the song again tough, i re-uploaded a better mix a couple days a go. Less loud and less tiring on the ears, a bit mellow/warmer sounding and not so aggresive anymore.

ok these are really nice.
however, DNA (you took over the development, right?):
could you please make all these linear envelopes exponential?
linear env's are a no go ... these synths are really close, but none of the analog originals had linear env's ... could you? :)

and could you fix the "six month june" arpeggiator? in up/down mode it plays the upper and the lower note twice, in the original the highest and lowest notes are only triggered once ... that would be it so far ... :)
and 3 more bugs on thisone:
1. pitchbender via midi doesn't work on the vcf > pitchbend. works only when moved with the mouse directly on the gui.
2. the vcf > pitchbend range is way to tiny. it should be like in a real juno, where the pitchbend upwards is able to control the entire cutoff range, if the vcf > pitchbend range-knob is full up ... meaning, when the pitchbender is on the middle position, cutoff is completeley down (where the "real" cutoff slider is) and if the vcf > pitchbend range-knob is full up, the pitchbender should open the cutoff fully, when moved max ...
same goes for moving it downwards, when the cutoff slider itself is max up ... the downwards movement of the pitchbender should be able to close the cutoff completeley, if the range is set to max ...
3. the filter keyfollow knob is accidentially inverted ... :)
