Ohhh If you don't like it. It's not a big deal. I just wanted to give you a rough idea of how I saw vocals could fit your tune. I know it's less than pro but it was fun to do some music with someone from home for a little while. Nobody plays like home folks.

Sometimes outside input just doesn't mesh with the artistic vision. I've been rejected (many many times) before by working professionals. I know, I'm borderline most of the time but I sing and play anyway just because I like doing it .....

If you want to record these lyrics I would like to change a word or two first. I can never leave anything alone. It's a sickness.

Indeed, you need to start laying down some tracks as well. It's been too long!

I wasn't sure when I read the lyrics first with all the 'na na's' but it does work!
I think I'll record some harmony parts, and if you want to change the lyric a bit and do another vocal then we'll see about mixing it all proper.

Cool! Cool! Thanks. I was a little worried about all the 'na na's'. I think singing them without the vibrato tail would be better. The only other change would be "it dangles in the water" rather than "and dangle in the water". Over all I was pretty happy with the way it fits together but I'd like to change the second verse. Maybe something will hit me later.

I think my honey bun would do some harmony/background if I asked. She sings this sort of thing really well. She seemed to like it a lot. First thing she said when it started was that it sounded a little too new age (meaning soft) for something I'd be interested in doing. When it was done she said she could see a clear picture of a couple of 10 years old southern kids playing on a summers day and I though to myself "bullseye".

If you want to, we'll fix it up. We'll get her in on it too if you like, she can actually sing and makes me sound really good. It was fun. I'm glad you liked it.

It was pretty easy, I just went home for a few minutes. It really is mostly beautiful there. Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

Alabama is a little bit of everything. From mountains in the north to gulf shores in the south but mostly it's a big wet forest. Lot's of water and trees. I grew up in the south so I think of swamps and hills.

I miss the changing of the leaves the most.
