Just curious... are people here interested in a group-buy for enchoir?? to get the ball rolling? i'm thinking of something like that for a while now... let me know

I thought about 40-50% off the regular price! There must be some interest in this?

Are there any special installation instructions I should know about?

no you just download the DemoPackage and then follow the including "how-to-install"... its nothing special, only two steps

Hi,
o.k., so I've started testing the plug-in.
The clean setting is terrific....just great.
Unfortunately I could not find any use for the other settings as they
gave me less than good results.
The Robot, Whistle and Crunch were the least favorites with Opera being better and Clean is excellent.
I will definately need a group buy in order to purchase this plugin.

May I suggest that the user be able to control the amount of bleeping going on in the Robot setting or even better be able to turn them completely off. They do not add any musical value in my opinion.

Overall, this plug-in is special sounding and worth considering for purchase but at a somewhat lower price IMHO.

Yes, i'm thinking about improving some of the choir-modes especially choir and robot... thats next on my to-do-list (for the next update)

I just tried the new version, and am pleased to see the cpu use down to around 12% - as opposed to 35% with the first version. I noted that the cpu rose to 15% when the demo noise was active, so maybe the full version performs slightly better.

The sound is quite good using Opera or Church, but the other options are of little value to me.

An option to totally disable the reverb would be welcomed, as I prefer to use my own effects anyway, and it could also help with cpu performance.

A group-buy may entice me, but I'm a little concerned about the associated problems with Synthedit...

Still, a very nice sounding harmonizer, well done.

What problems are there with Synthedit?

Disabling the reverb is a good idea as I may sometimes use the reverb in the plug-in and sometimes use my own.
I don't have a "church" setting in the demo I downloaded. I have
clean, crunch, opera, robot, whistle.

(unless I'm forgetting about that one since I'm not at my studio now).
The demo version I downloaded is 1.0. Is there another demo available?

Yes, sort of! When we reach like 100 users it would be 50% off, when 50 users join, something like 30% off and so on... have to make a scheme for that

Concerning the SynthEdit-problems: They *CAN* occur on dualcore setups when using more than one instance at once. If you only use one instance of enchoir there won't be any problem!
