The fact one was having a great time (falling in love etc) while listening to it years ago.

Every time you use autotune, God kills a kitten.
Please, think of the kittens.

Honestly: How many beautiful songs do you guys know that are in C major?!!
;-)
What's key got to do with it.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow, I believe a beautiful tune. Straight major. {I think it's transposable even. :tu:}

I think anyone with much of an overview of melodies throughout the years could give you a long enough list.
In G..

Eva Cassidy - over the rainbow

When I think beautiful, I think of Eva Cassidy. RIP lovely beautiful songbird.

Eva Cassidy - Blues In The Night

Eva Cassidy - what a wonderful world

Eva cassidy - At Last

Check it out. Almost any song she ever did is beautiful.

Whoa. Yeah, that is beautiful. That is one of the most moving things I have ever heard in my life, what she does with the melody here.

The note she finds at 4:24, 'skies (are blue)' is just fantastic

recently Leonard Cohen has been on tour -- great poet/lyricist, not so good singer and I'd also venture to say not so great song writer as he relies on cliched song structure so much
It was well worth seeing. He's in his 70s, and still plays a three hour gig with barely a break.

I put Leonard in the same category as BB King and Willie Nelson, just because of that.

Now, I didn't understand until after that show that he'd come out of retirement because the person who he entrusted his estate to while he went on some religious pilgrimage, disposed of all his money. I suspect that person didn't expect Leonard to live long enough to find out...
