What would you like to see from me for the DC?

Just doing some research.
The DC will probably be the first time I release anything.
I've got loads of half finished stuff made using various modulars that I plan to slowly convert to SynthEdit and release to the world.
BTW, this is purely research, It doesn't mean I'll actually make the most popular choice, or I may make something not even on this list for all I know.

Seams I'm the first to vote here. I would love to see a GSM phone imitation. Maybe also a phonespeaker emulator to really give the crisp sound they have.

I'll let you know there is one already for Buzz and one for LADSPA.
The Buzz plugin works in FL Studio, so if you happen to use it you're in luck, you'll still need an EQ cause it only emulates the codec.
The LADSPA one is even cooler, but AFAIK Linux only.
Kinda weird that such small plugin standards have it yet VST doesn't.

You could get some extra points by making a dual audio triggered/midi triggered plug, just use 2 many to 1's, one for pitch and one for gate of the adsr.
I found the stock Synthedit adsr for this only worked in mono, but a ck adsr worked in poly too. Hadn't tried any other adsr stuff, I think there are more out there, maybe evm.

Maybe I should have put the word begging in quotation marks, I didn't mean it literally.
I don't know C/C++, I intend to use SynthEdit, so I can't see how I'll make a sample converter to end all sample converters with that.
I just recommended contacting those companies because they are already pretty close to having what you would like to see, and they have far greater knowledge of sample formats then I do.

Well if you're going all synthedit on me I guess some kind of FSU.
I doubt anyone could make what I'd like to see in DC anyhoo.I got my eye on extreme sample converter for what I really want.It would be nice to see more utility type submissions since vst's cover so much ground already these days.

Yeah, it would be nice to see a sample converter that does it all, from obscure formats from the 80's to the latest and greatest. SFZ really needs more love from developers, it's one of my favorite formats as well.

Looks like the tuned noise based ambient/texture/drone/fx/weirdness synth idea and the sample 'mutator' are in the lead. Thats pretty cool since those are my favorite ideas.
For anyone who's curious what mutator means: basically take two samples or an audio input (if it is possible) and fm, ring mod, min, max, and, or, xor, substract, envelope follow, slice, dice, and mutilate audio in any way that synthedit,my cpu, and creativity allows.
I'll probably have to find a better name because Mutronics might not like it though.
