I have a baby due in 5 weeks, and I've still been cashing in on these great deals. Minimonsta, Largo, Komplete, UAD plugs, etc. have all been mine this month and I've yet to buy a baby buggy.

Sell the kid and you can afford all the plug ins you want.

That is so wrong; but so funny! And my wife is due to give birth in 4 weeks so I can relate

anyway, a couple days ago I finally talked myself into ordering Omnisphere, which I'd been drooling over for a while, and the Omnisphere purchase seemed like a big and climactic enough one that i then said, "I am done! for the rest of the year! i've got all I need".....then I hear about this 99 dollar fab-filter deal. and I just couldn't possibly say no. you know what I mean.....it was an impossible offer to refuse.

When I sell some of my existing hardware I will probably get some new pieces which are more useful to me.
When I have $1000 in savings I will work my way through my "wishlist".
This also excludes anything in my wishlist and certain limited time deals below $50.

I've spent all my time since last December working to pay off old medical debts, and as of last week I am debt free. God it feels good.
I rewarded myself with PSP Nitro.
It hasn't been easy (and I think I've been no fun to be around), but it does get easier every time I pass up something (like the FabFilter deal).
Last year all I bought was Superior Drummer 2.
So, two good years for me.
I have a musical wish list, I've been sorely tempted, but it can all wait. My god-daughter is getting married in October. If I can afford one thing it will be that plane ticket.
I will check out the AudioMidi "no brainer" deals every month, however.

I promise to stay on course.

It should be noted that DLM's Ballistic is exempt from all promises, as it's for charity (mate).

In fact, anyone who hasn't already bought it should do so - you can't successfully 'not buy' anything until you have bought it. It's kind of paradoxical, but you're just in denial until you own a copy

I promised myself this recently after buyng a lot of new stuff to build up a new strong arsenal, but then the FabFilter deal came across and had to buy it, then I promised again and now I have seen Sugar Bytes WOW for a good price and already PM-ed the seller Damn..
