OK Has anyone else installed this on a PC? For some reason the installer doesn't let you choose the location of the install (even in custom) and I can't seem to find where they placed it. I'm running a search of all my hard drives, but I only seem to come up with files related to my old EZPlayer Free.

Anyone else been through this that can offer advice? Or is it just me?

Thanks

I think I've got it. I uninstalled and ran "custom" instead of "complete." This allows you to choose the destination files.

Hope this saves someone else some time.

BTW, I'm surprised that Squids didn't mention this (or maybe he did and I just missed it), but including EZPlayer is a real value as it sells for $49 and is only available from Toontrack. This was actually on my 'to purchase' list. CM did a full feature review of this last year IIRC and gave it high marks.

Add the free 1,000 MIDI files, and you're really talking about a serious premium here, and this is BEFORE we even get to the Drum Masters update.

Very Cool.

Man, this summer is really turning into quite a gearfest!

Thanks Berf. We're glad you guys are enjoying it. Yeah, this the FULL commercial $49 product we're giving away for you guys. I had to pull some strings to do this but we're friends with most of the drum software companies and there's a lot of mutual respect. They were as thrilled as we were about the idea of connecting what they've done with the midi side of their EZ Drummer and Superior Drummer with products like Ocean Way Drums and Drum Masters which are based on Kontakt that doesn't have a convenient midi engine to work with. So this is a nice hybrid of software technology to work with and it is totally optional so it all depends on what works for you. Everyone here at SR is really digging EZ Player Pro and how it integrates with our Kontakt Player-based products. Now we're selling Groove Monkee midi packs as well which contain both GM and iMap. Plus we're going to have exclusive premium iMap midi collections made by myself and also taken from famous drummmers' tracks - people like Bill Bruford, Steve Gadd, Billy Cobham, Neil Peart... all that is coming but those will be exclusively in iMap format so they'll only work with SR products that use iMap such as Ocean Way Drums and Drum Masters.

Also, not everyone knows this but we do also have a version of Ocean Way Drums that is priced around the same as EZ Drummer. It's this one: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=2753 Ocean Way Drums DL (10 Gigs+). Now since you get EZ Player Pro for free it really is right in that sweet spot for a musician looking to have the convenience and the particular qualities of Ocean Way that are unique - the studio character that all of those artists that record at Ocean Way love.

Did I get it right that this produrct here (OceanWay DL)

... is the "cheapest" product that makes EZPlayer Pro eligible for any customer?

I'm sitting on the fence for (maybe) purchasing your IP Drums Master Starter Kit

http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=3775

This one does not qualify for EZ PL Pro, right?

Do you think about a kind of discount on EZ PL Pro for users who purchase or even already own such a "smaller" drum item by eSoundz? I don't know how all of your contracts and joint ventures behind the scenes may work of course. It's just a customer perspective. It would be nice to get the EZPlayer a bit cheaper.

I just watched the tutorial on the toontrack site and EZPlayer seems to be very interesting.

Squids, have you set any date when the free midi grooves will be available? I'm just asking because I'm in the mood to spend some epointz on some MIDI loops from your sites and want to maximize the spread. :)

Allen will put it in your download area. They're cool! The iMap ones are mostly conversions from GM format so they're not fancy or utilizing the full benefits of the format. I will be providing some fancy ones very soon as well (also free... how cool is this free update stuff? I think we're doing good for you guys on our drum products here! It just gets better and better I think). You get a nice assortment from Groove Monkee that covers a lot of styles. Also being announced officially but available now are Groove Monkee midi packs from www.esoundz.com and www.downloadablsoundz.com
I am guessing these are not there yet (checked both ESoundz and Downloadable sites), I got the EZPLayer serial number and am downloading that as I type - Thanks Squidz
Just found my free midi files at Esoundz site - Thanks guys!!!

Offering the EZPlayer Pro for free and the GrooveMonkee MIDI files really adds a lot of value to your product line. I already had the player, but for those who don't, it's a situation where the system really comes together and the value of these sample libraries really becomes apparent. Well done, Squids!

Well, it is a $50 program that you can get for FREE with the purchase of say Ocean Way Drums DL which is only $199! That's abotu as good as it's gonna get! We have to pay for the EZ Player Pro (it's not free to us!!!) so it is our gift to you under those conditions. Or if you have the Infinite Player Starter Pack another option is to upgrade to any of the Drum Masters Silver, Gold, Platinum or newly released "Complete Kits" or "Complete Grooves" collections. The cheapest being an upgrade to Drum Masters Silver which again would be worth the money in a big way!

The ones that come with any Sonic Reality drum product purchase (including past purchases) are available now. That's 1,000 General Midi and iMap grooves courtesy of Groove Monkee. You'll get them automatically in your user area of esoundz if you purchase any qualifying drum product now and if you already have a Sonic Reality drum product you purchased then just contact Allen and he will put it into your user area manually.

Also, this goes for anyone who purchased any Sonic Reality drum products from other stores too, except that you would have to create an account on www.downloadablesoundz.com which is our download site that services our dealer sales. Then Allen can verify your purchase and put the free midi files in there manually.

If you purchased Ocean Way Drums or Drum Masters from a store then just go here and fill out this form to get your free EZ Player Pro. You'll have to enter your serial number though so we can verify (without that you can't get the EZ Player Pro). http://www.sonicreality.com/ezplayerpro

Bring it on Squidz, really looking forward to trying this combination out ... :band2:

A quick question. Do everybody else also have to transpose the midifiles we got, an octave upwards in EZ Player Pro to get them to use the right drums and cymbals? If no, what could it be? I'm running Kontakt 3.5, using IMAP Extended.
Thankful for any help. :)
