Really what so great there, which cannot be done with drummachines? So far I havent heard anything outstanding in demos. Just standard boring beat. Or this is a new generation of E-Jay...for pros?koolkeys wrote:You haven't used RMX then. If you think for a second that it's the same thing as Redrum, you are wrong. Redrum can't even begin to do all that RMX can do.
I havent said that Thor can do all the sounds. So who gets to judge if it's bloated? I thought we were talking about Reason being able to do all sounds? Every time I mention something it can't do, you say that you don't need it. So we're not actually talking about what Reason can do any more, but what YOU need.
Oh, really? Even standard supersaw which I've heard in demo? Or some crappy bass? And again I havent said that Thor can do everything, but it can do a lot.Thor can't even BEGIN to recreate what Omnisphere can make. Nothing in Reason can.
Can. For example subtractive sounds maded with Zebra. And... Zebra can't do what Thor can do.No synth in Reason can do what Zebra can do.
Even with vst's you someday finishing layering some sounds. And, well just for fun and make some crazy fx'es and sounds. And even if you could begin to create something using the routing, why would you want to connect ten devices together when you can just load up a single VST and have everything there AND integrated?
RV7000 plus misc fxes after it for manipulation of the reverb sound even more. What Breverb can do what RV7000 cant do? I've demoed it once, found nothing special.Second, show me the reverb in Reason that can match something like Breverb? I'm not just talking about sound either. I'm talking about flexibility and functionality.
You get my point now? You cant say in the final mix what is maded with superquality plugins and what mix is maded just with good ones, wnen its maded with right hands. One track even isnt finished and exported straight out of Reason without further processing. Maybe its possible to recognize in fully orchestral or live recording mix, but not in electronic music. So, this debates good quality vs great quality is just useless. Especially for the 99% of listeners, who dont give a shit with what it was maded. You provided two audio files, but those are useless for any test. First of all, they aren't the same sounde source. Second, synth patches sometimes have effects built in. Not very good comparison material since it's hard to know what is reverb and what is synth.
Hmmm. iZotope RX is one interesting beast. Especially his spectral repair module. No, it's not exactly like that. Have you seen the things that tools like iZotope RX can do? Have you seen adaptive noise reduction in Audition?
I thought you mean overall spectral editing. Cool stuff indeed. Where I can read about it and can you recommend a some plugs and standalone tools? Maybe I'll need it one day.Oh, so Reason has a spectral editing screen? Where you can edit the frequency and time spectrum with sample level precision? Take a single dog bark from the background of a recorded audio file that you didn't hear when recording? No, it doesn't have this. And I've only scratched the surface of what spectral editing does.
P.S.: Just a little bit till 100. Have patience, guys!
EDIT: Crappy typos.

I am pretty sure they developed the new guitar amp plugin because a) that kind of thing is popular with a lot of people, and b) Pro Tools has something similar in Eleven Le. It is pretty clear Apple is targeting parts of the Pro Tools customer base with their latest Logic releases.blank/diod wrote: I expect NI and IK Multimedia to become more Windows-friendly after Logic was updated with this rather shameless AmpliTube/Guitar Rig ripoff.
They are doing a good job of it too. I will upgrade

Nothing can do what This Plugin can. End of story.
And obviously you can't use This Plugin since it needs an experimental linux distro which isn't even in pre alpha yet, and only a handfew of people know how to install it. 4 of them are Korean, one bit his tongue and lost his arms in a car accident so he only communicates with other people through body language and blinking.
They demand the average price of an 8-core Mac Pro EACH. They also have a strict policy in which you have to promise your wife(s, if you're from Utah) and kids to the Associate Production Coordinating Directorial Associate of Managing Departmental Divisional Office Supervisor of the International Network Amalgamation Distributors Corporation Management Organizational Association of Men Who Like Pussy.
There's a 0.1% chance of success of installing everything, but it isn't sure if it will RUN properly or if it will make any sound.
But it's worth it. Got married 5 times, lost my chest hair in a fire, one of my wives took my house and car, lost ALL of my hair in another fire, got locked up for trying to kill one of my wives, got shot 3 times cause apparently one of my wives was some guy's hooker.
But it was worth it. I now run This Plugin. Of course, there's noise every 5 seconds since the guy who knew the serial code was the armless one.

For dinner tonight I had some Tesco fresh pasta - Four Cheese Tortelloni with that nice thick orange Tomato and Mascaponi sauce. As I eat it, enjoying some great Merlot on the side, I looked into the bowl...
And then it dawned on me. So THAT's where the ReCord logo comes from!

Oh you dont need to edumacate me buddy, I have shopped at and been subsequently underwhelmed at the poor quality of Tesco food-o. I have been at an Aberdeen Tesco and the Budapest Tesco, and they both suck-o. Actually they seem to be about the same as any place here stateside, save for Whole Foods... I dont think "quality food stuffs" though when I see the name "tesco"
