Hi! First of all sorry for my broken english. A new team of sound designers is being created. We will run our website in a few months (summer propably). Our goal is to make soundsets for the most popular synths and those without any relased soundsets like Ion or Microkorg.
Right now we have set for Sylenth1 and working on another for Blofeld. Primary music styles are dance/techno/trance but that can be changed. Will se what people want. Ok, that's enough.

Besides delay no external effects were used.

Hi.

Yeah your sounds a great, although definitely in the generic trance and dance category. One thing i might suggest would be put a bit more effort into the demos to really show of the sounds. Can make or break a sale.

All in all, good idea and good vibe. Should do alright.

Have you made the research of the past two years where the electronic music is heading? And what kind of presets the market is flooded with?

First answer - TECHNO.
Second answer - TRANCE.

Listening to your demo ATM, where 99% of sounds are cheap and cheesy trance sounds, which you can find in almost every virtual synth default package. If you want to make real money, you will earn nothing with this crap made in two minutes! Focus on minimal/techno as there are plenty free space in this market. Innovate the sound not replicate!

Many synth presets designers and especially their marketing departments don't understand one clear thing about their clients. Presets buyers are mostly young producers with a lack of synth programming knowledge, as the older one knows how to replicate certain sound in a matter of seconds. Kids want to sound like their favorite artist and they want exact sounds like Justice bass, Benny Benasi bass, DubFire sweeps, Eric Prydz pads, Tiesto leads and so on and so on. The only Lennar Digital company spotted this with a Sylenth1 and i think they are doing pretty good. Quality mp3 demos for the presets are half of the job too. 90% market flooded with same cheesy midi trance demos, nothing really new for more than 4-6 years. I know that trance is the most popular genre in electronic music, but this market is already full, although there are plenty others to conquer!

If you're making presets just for fun, just ignore my statement.

Trance might be one of the most popular dance genres, but hardly electronic genres. I don't know a single person who listens to trance, while it's totally common to listen to artists like Røyksopp and Chemical Brothers. Techno and "poptronic", not to mention a lot of electronic hiphop is a lot more popular than trance.

Or maybe I'm just dreaming?

Yes you are. Non of your mentioned artists stands for trance or techno. This statement is correct if you are still living in 1996. Where all music that came from synth, but not from a real instrument, was stated as techno or trance.

nice trancy presets. The saws might be better designed for something like anthem trance which uses a lot of saws. Anthem trance tunes are still spun, but they are less of the 1996 anthem styles, more up to date with the long drawn out sections before, and then the anthem. I admit, I hate anthem trance, but I like these sounds since it seems like the Waldorf wouldn't be able to make those kinds of trancy sounds since it seems geared more towards techno. And yes, forgot to mention that the delay uses on the sound I think comes directly from the box. It has delay, tempo 'clocked delay', and reverb. There's actually two FX 'slots' not counting filters as effects, one for the chorus, flanger, unison and unison detune. I'm just gonna get this thing soon, but what I'm really looking forward to is the PPG Low Pass filter. Always wanted a nice imitation of that filter.
