So I'm doing a search for a Jazz Clarinet samples and this site turns up - http://www.warpivmusic.com/JazzClarinet.html

Anybody got any experience with these instruments? The player on the site is borked for most of the examples, but from what I can tell, these sound pretty darn good.

What a weird company - Defense strategies and music sample production. Hmm.

Thanks.

Yeah, I got the whole sax choir. AWESOME. It's a huge libarary, there are many instruments, and many samples, it's incredibly detailed. It's the kind of thing where you will have to load more than one instrument, or deal with groups with more than one track.

IMO, the Warp IV beats everything for woodwinds, and brass. The dev, Jeff Steinman, threw in the screech trumpet for FREE here, so he's my buddy... It was on sale, what I bought.

When someone first hipped me to Warp IV, I saw that site and thought, this can't be right!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, if those demos are done with their samples, they are indeed awesome. I'm snaggin' that clarinet - very realistic and just what I need. I take it the Kontakt keyswitching is way cool? They need to fix that demo player though - I hope they're more tidy with stuff that safeguards our National Security.

Thanks again jan.

well, it's keyswitching, which is a pain. you can set up banks so that you don't have to load the sample set but once. Although K3.5 obviates having to do that with KMS.

yeah, I bet it'll do pretty much what a clarinetist will do if you spend enough time with it. This library is getting a good rep among film scoring peoples... I have a guy doing a soprano solo who was having a bad time with this one kind of improbable lick, so I said, cut your losses on that, I'll do with this Warp IV... So, he's going to try harder LOL. I know only one person with the clarinet, which he likes, and he is a clarinetist.

here, the demo player worked fine. I guess a particular browser compatibility thing.

you're welcome!
