you are the man my friend. very kind and generous. now let's have a play.Ceej wrote:Ok, it's killing me seeing everyone having so much trouble downloading this. I've got more outbound bandwidth than I currently know what to do with, so at least temporarily, I'm hosting these files. If the drain gets too high I'll pull the plug, but I expect it'll be fine for a while. Of course, if sonicfire doesn't want me to offer his downloads for any reason, I'll remove them immediately.

I've put the original 9 .rar files there, and also re-combined them into a single .zip which I think will be easier for most people. Same stuff, so please only download one or the other!

nice, thanks! (to all - sonicfire, hosters, et al)
a little feedback for installation:
If you are in Vista 64 the agonyx folder must be installed under:
/program files/agonyx2
not
/program files(x86)/agonyx2
This is probably true for xp64, too.
Once I did this, all the presets work correctly.

Not bad, I can only get mellow sounds out of it though.

Nice synth SF. Thank you! Any chance of a manual in the near future?

I noticed something bizarre in this synth. I have a multi-boot system, and may main OS is installed in drive E:. When I installed Agonyx and launched it, it didn't play anything. I read what you wrote, and a crazy idea crossed my mind: Could it be that, although absurd, when he says C:\Program Files\... he really means C:\Program Files, and not whatever HD the system is?
I tried to put the folder in C:\Program Files and it worked.
Of course, I think this is absurd, and that the synth should look into Program Files on whatever disk the OS is.
Maybe you can repair this in a future version. Anyway, it's an interesting synth, and right now, it has the right price to appeal to the masses

Thanks sonicfire.
But: I can't get a sound out of it, althought the agonyx2 directory is where it should be:
C:/program files/agonyx2
Anyone else?

No sound here either in Tracktion 2. Presets load and CPU load increases with plug-in active, but no sound emerges from it with standard MIDI input.

edit: apparently the subject heading in which i wrote "no sound" is not shown with my response!
had to laugh at that one myself.
hey, wait a minute, i like FLStudio
