in the latest demo video Urban sequence was a failure
there's certainly a place for arpeggios in hip hop, but one just should know how it's done correctly, so hip hop stays recognizable

didn't recognise my motif arpegiator in the video. It looks and sounds very primitive and 100€ is too expensive for the basic things I've seen.

Can you import your own midi's into Catanya and use them as an arpeggiator? If that were possible, then this would be a perfect tool for composers. And I would pay any price for it. Programming a musical phraze using a step sequencer isn't very intuitive.

Post

I think 45 euro's is a fair price for this. Definately got my interest anyway.

perfect price.
will purchase as soon as available ! (soon?) :)

Il have a look at it if theres a demo, I would have thought $45US would have been a better price to 45euros. I dont think a lot of people could justify 45 on an Arp

Post

I think the price is just right
Looking forward to getting this

very great, that you made a video how to use it in FL Studio, too!! And it's a great price. So now, give the world an order link !!!!!!!!!1 :hihi: :hihi:

I already have SugarBytes ERA2. Don't think Catanya much better. First I'll try demo then think twice about price =\

same here. The catanya libraries look great, but in case everybody uses these pattern will quickly get unamusing. I think a new arpeggiator/step sequencer must have really a huge innovative potential to beat ERA2. Nevertheless I am already curious about the demo.

Is it still possible to get ERA2? (If you have a link please share, I have been looking around) Does it have much of a library, or you like the ease of building your own patterns?

Too bad it doesn't have MIDI import for user phrases.

That's the feature which would justify 45€. Without it... hm, maybe 30.
