OK,
I picked up DrumCore 2.5 in the eSoundz Group Buy in June 2008. Along with the drummers in DrumCore I got the 5 Drummer Packs:
* - Bun E Carlos v2.0.0..0
* - Steve Gadd v2.0.0.0
* - TempestaPack 1 DX v2.0.0.1
* - Urban GT DX v2.0.0.4
* - ZoroPack 1 DX v2.0.0.6
Now, if I upgrade to DrumCore 3 what new or revised / extended drum kits / grooves will I get?
And, after that upgrade to v3, what other DrummerPacks are available from eSoundz? [I've looked around the site and around Submersible's but cannot work out what's what.]

We have the OmniDrummer series: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/downl ... 8050H28101
Plus, we're thinking about possibly doing a special edition of Ocean Way Drums if there's enough interest. I might do a poll and if at least 100 people sign up for the poll we'll do it. That's one way. The other way is to give away a free Ocean Way Drum kit in DrumCore format to people that joined the previous group buy and to anyone who buys an OmniDrummer kit... or maybe just to every DrumCore user - another idea. Just to let them know we're all about drums!!!!

Read the Drumcore 3 description. There's a massive content upgrade as compared to V. 2.5. Well worth the upgrade price.
Also, the most recent CM has a fairly thorough review. Check it out.

Drumcore is an amazing program, IMHO. And while the performances on the loops are great, just as valuable are the MIDI files which, with over 100 included kits, really give you an amazing array of percussion options (i.e. slow down a Tempesta groove and put it with a 909 kit...etc.)Squids wrote:We have the OmniDrummer series: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/downl ... 8050H28101

Plus, they are dead easy to use and tweak--precisely because the tweak options are limited to just pan/volume/tune.
I just got the OWD (dl version) and I would love to get these kits in Drumcore format too.
Excellent idea.

Yes, sorry I should have mentioned that and the $50 upgrade price is a no-brainer. Plus you get the Tama Star Classic kit for free if you buy the upgrade from here: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=2590BERFAB wrote:Read the Drumcore 3 description. We also have 1,000 midi files courtesy of Groove Monkee for free this month for anyone who buys ANY Sonic Reality drum product from www.esoundz.com So any of those OmniDrummer kits qualify for that as well.

I'm surprised you haven't jumped on this already. Aside from the expanded content, the new program is well worth it. Now a VSTi! Much easier work flow.buscemi wrote:Even for my "underemployed" arse that $50 upgrade is tempting, especially with the esoundz bonus! You guys keep laying on the bonuses nicely, thanks.
Now if they could just get it to work in Cubase 5...

Yeah, this really sucks. I can't even use Kitcore anymore.BERFAB wrote:

Submersible says that they are working with Steinberg but the months are passing by......
$50 would be a no brainer.

That's it. I knew there was a reason. I've been getting by on multiple projects instead of a steady job, so if it worked in Cubase 5 and would easily make the 50 bucks back (not hard, but I have other drum products like IP and some Ocean Way to not make it as compelling in that respect) I would be on it for sure.BERFAB wrote:I'm surprised you haven't jumped on this already. i am giving up hope to on Drumcore. its been 5 months since it has been released. They should give us DC 4 for free at this point. $50 isnt a lot of money, but I find the whole thing semi annoying. Luckily I have enough toys to keep me busy

I share the pain with you and Berfarb...my pain is Sonar and TRacks2 and 3 versions even the singles. Sonar had been good but conclude it's not Sonar causing the crashes. I've even changed motherboard and CPU.. IK replies "this is strange.. did it do this on any previous sonar 8 update or justgmon72 wrote:i am giving up hope to on Drumcore. its been 5 months since it has been released. the newest one?"
I don't use TRacks3 or the singles as a plug-in with Sonar any more. I do miss the Fairlight (ouch) but I can use it as a stand alone to mix a Sonar project. It works fine with Acid. So I guess I'm better off than you guys , at least I can use some of the features, but still...... What's ironic, Cakewalk asked me for the crash codes and really worked with me to try and resolve the issue and it wasn't their product. On the other hand, other than a snide remark that's all I got from IK about their product.. go figure?...

If any of you are actually having the problem then contact them so you can give them the details of their system. I asked them about it and they said they couldn't replicate the problem. You can't solve something if you can't replicate the problem. So all of you who can't get it to work in Cubase 5, it apparently DOES work in Cubase 5 but maybe not under certain circumstances so... if those are your circumstances please contact Submersible so they can try to figure it out. If you live in the Bay area they might even come to you! I know they want to solve it. I don't know that Steinberg is doing anything about it so...mike1k wrote:Yeah, this really sucks. FYI I have written their support several times offering to help and havent gotten a response the last 2 times or so I have written. I thought Kord and company were cool when the group buy was going on, but I can't beg them to try to get me to help them. They claim they are "working with Steinberg" so they must have some idea what the problem is, but after 5 months (since Drumcore 3 was released) and even longer since Cubase 5 came out (where Kitcore 2 has the same issue) it is starting to ring a little hollow.Squids wrote:If any of you are actually having the problem then contact them so you can give them the details of their system. Well, I am not sure why that is but I know what they told me which is to have anyone I know of that has this issue contact them. Maybe call them? They are cool guys, really nice and helpful from my experience.
