Yeh they are there I seem to remember Squids saying they were loaded manually so maybe best to drop a line to Allen.

Ah thanks, it's good to know that. I already emailed Allen about the midi files on Monday this week but maybe he has forgotten to put them in my user area.don1thedon wrote:Yeh they are there I seem to remember Squids saying they were loaded manually so maybe best to drop a line to Allen.

Is there any option for infinite player group buy participants to get invovled in this on some level? I get that we don't qualify of the EZ Player but could we get the midi files? Those infinite drum kits are stellar and I would love to get the midi files now and buy the the player later when funds permit. Many thanks. - Scotty
Squids wrote:I think Toontrack is updating EZ Player Pro over time to support iMap fully. In the case of the Groove Monkee midi files, once Toontrack gets the conversion just right then it probably won't make a difference whether you use one source or the other. However, when I do my proprietary iMap grooves that use the extended iMap articulations then that will NOT be the same from format to format. It will have to be "dumbed down" for GM (iMap is more expressive and capable of realism than just GM). That can still be done but... there will be a wider difference than these which are just "translated" into the iMap format for convenience.
We'll look into the "strangeness" and see what's up. Maybe we did it TOO fast!Something might have gotten messed up. We'll fix it if that's the case.

Will the IMAP formatted MIDI files automatically go into the download area? I re-downloaded and re-installed the MIDI file over the weekend, and it was just the same files. Do we have to actually send Allen an email? Or has the change not taken place yet?
Thanks

I thought Squids said that they had already been added, I've not checked yet.
Hang on just remembered I DL'd them again late last week, just checked and yes there are IMap files in there. Maybe worth DL'ing again doesn't take long?
