I'd say it'd take at least 1 month for porting PC->OSX. So let's say tentatively that at the beginning of November we'll have an VST OSX beta version!

One step towards the beta: Filter spectrums are now displayed to give the user information on the filter frequency response. The user can also edit cutoff/resonance using the spectrum view:

Hopefuly in an hour we're releasing version 1.9.9.10, which will be our "official" Beta version :)

EDIT: We made the release, and that makes us officially Beta

Cool, just check it out, it's almost done. Next week we'll make an "official" beta announcement to the entire world! And after that our mains tasks will be:

1. Fixing the remaning bugs,

2. Writing user manuals,

3. Designing tutorial presets,

4. Designing factory presets. For that we have teamed up with:

Scot Solida
Xenos Soundworks (Brian "Xenos" Lee)
CFA-Audio (Cyforce)
Le Lotus Bleu Sound Design (Lotuzia)
(Our own) Teoman Pasinlioglu

5. Designing professional looking interfaces, and updating our website as well. For that, we have teamed up with

TSV Design
(Our own) Umut Dervis

We're hoping to finish these tasks around mid-September, and then we're good to go 8)

When i see what's already possible with the current version 1.9.9.10 i guess that Synthmaster 2.0 will really deserve it's name. Or will it be "Synthmonster" like stated before... Like Obama said: "Yes we (almost) did it"

I guess not, i tried to copy some .wav files to the waveforms directory but they are not recognized. But with the wave editor (inside the synth) you can make your own waveforms. From up to 16 of those waveforms you can make a wavetable then (automatic interpolation).

Nice, that way i could use the huge amount of waveforms which come with Rapture. This feature was the one i forgot to mention in my last "wish list".

I've become increasingly MORE interested in your developement with this synth the past few days. I very much admire your dedication, efforts, and willingness (if not "enthusiasm") to "users" requests/interests/and desires, not to mention HOW those have actually materialized, and been conscientiously implimented.

Am buying it right now, as it most assuredly IS:

"A no-brainer"

Thank you for this marvelous "labor of love".

Nicely done :tu:

(p.s. I absolutely  the graphic ['disk' thingy] in your logo)

I think you will like Synthmaster. The version 1 is nice and has many presets but the new version 2.0 will be (or already is) much better. When you received the link for the beta version you can download a rar archive. The folder it contains has to be copied to your vstplugins directory. You have to copy the textfile with the serial (SynthMasterLicenceKey.txt) to the folder with the dll file. This way you could use the standalone (SynthMaster2.exe), the GUI Editor (GUIEditor.exe) and the VSt version with your DAW.

There is no manual so far so this may help.

If you find new bugs or other things you can post them here:
