Actually it's not being fixed for Synthedit 2, it's already fixed in v1.1 (currently in beta testing), v2.0 is a long ways off!

Jeff has already said that once v1.1 is stable (which was an almost complete rewrite and includes a new developers SDK) he's going to start on v1.2 which is going to be workflow/interface based. If this is what his point updates are like, can you imagine what he's going to do for v2.0!

I was aware that the multicore bug had been fixed already albeit in an unstable beta version... I'm not sure where i heard that about v2 (maybe the voices in my head!)
Thats great to hear that it should be stable in 1.2! :)

Why was is unusable? It's serial based software, right? You keep the serial, your software works.
Ok.

Quick question: why aren't those guys in jail yet? That's as fraudulent as fraud can be and, last I check, fraud was a criminal offense in most of the civilized world.
No, that wasn't me.

Just to clarify, the multicore problem will be fixed in the official v1.1 release.

What bug? I use more than 1 instance in Cubase Studio 4; works a treat. :)

Yeah, its a very unpredictable bug, some systems seem ok, others not.. you must be one of the lucky ones..

create as much copies of the plugin as you want, give them different names, like superwaveA, supberwaveB and so on ... use these instances then there aren't any problems at all

I tried this a couple of months back with some other synthedit plug (cant remember which) and it didn't work for me.. Maybe I should give it another try.

Must be the use of some incorrect instruction. I don't get it because I don't use a multicore DAW (yeah I live in the dark ages). But I rarely mac out even one core, maybe I'm doing it wrong (or right?) 8)

For the record: I bought the Trance Pro bundle a few years ago, just before the site disappeared. As soon as I found out they were back (which was only a couple of weeks ago - which leaves me wondering why they're in my "watched developers" list here at KVR since nothing was announced), I emailed them for new reg codes and got not only that but the 808/909 emulations that weren't in the original bundle I bought. So buggy or not, "dodgy devs" or not, color me a (finally) satisfied customer...

And yes, the P8 is free (and actually sounds the best) but takes up waaaay more CPU....
Know - NOT FEAR, KNOW - that some day, you are going to die. :hyper: :tu:

I came to KVR to find out what happened to them and people thought I was a troll / flamer.hehe errm I'm another of the 2004 crew and paid just under £70 for it. So those who paid £40 , got off a bit lighter. Mixed feelings about the whole thing really. Someone compared it to AIG shares, errm you KNOW there is a risk with them, you don't expect it with plugin makers.

For all the noise and rhetoric, not one person actually came forward with evidence of fraud. Certainly nobody pressed criminal charges, or even filed a civil suit.

Does that answer your question?
