for obvious reasons i think this could be a mistake...
I said the same thing when my half brother did the same thing 15 years ago with his son (who btw was a fantastic drummer) I have no idea how it worked out though. I have enough guitars, so maybe I'll let her choose. I know she watches the Jonas Brothers all the time and freezes on the chords to learn them so she might insist on standard. BTW at this point she does not know how to tune the guitar, it's really still a prop. But she's out of summer school now so we'll have some time now to get started.

So I'm surprised there's so little Sonar love.

Wait for the "chorus".. :hihi:

Very good one.

I'm also surprised that not so many people are using Sonar. If I would have a fast workflow with Sonar, I don't think I would ditch it for anything else.

I wonder if... the lower the score... the more people are making music and not wasting their time on forums? :hihi:

Or that Sonar users and others are using cracked software, thus no reason to post here.

I have always assumed that a high percentage of people who post questions and debate about software on a forum other than the home forum for the software, are using stolen goods. The best place to get advice and info about DooDoo DAW is on the DooDoo board. Everywhere else is going to come in second.

Nah.. Sometimes you just can't stand the home forum. I own ... Damn I don't know 6 or 7 cakewalk products and I have posted on that forum maybe twice. I've never posted on any other company forums that I know of except XT and I own almost one of everything. Come to think of it, I don't post on the XT forum anymore either.

I like to talk about stuff but company forums generally suck because of the clueless, the fanbois and the company over control or complete lack of company control. It's a fine line...

Yes, I primarily use FL studio but don't spend much time at the IL forum.

I now primarily use Cubase, but have not even registered at the Cubase.net forum. If I ever had a problem I guess I would register there and ask though... but only if the v.helpful Cubase users here at KVR did not help get it sorted (which I think they would)

Agreed, I have a dongle registration for the Cubase.net forums, but I just find it a stale and barren place for anything from support to just discussing workflow/features. I think I have a postcount of 10 or something over there.

Same with the Cakewalk forums. There's some great guys over there who post lots of good information, but they tend to be drowned out by some incredibly loud voices (who frequently post bad information on top of bad chat).

I find some of the most informative Cubase/Sonar/Imageline/Reaper customers tend to hang here. Go figure.
