We're considering taking some of the Ocean Way Drums DL Kits and making them available in various sampler formats. This is your chance to vote on which formats we support! We may even give you a free Ocean Way Drum kit in the formats that are the most popular so... let us know!

If you want to vote for more than one sampler then just post in this thread what your wish is and maybe it will be granted. We're also going to pick 5 random people at the end of the month who have posted in here to receive some free swag like an Ocean Way Drums Download Card to pick out some Ocean Way Drums kits for free, an Ocean Way Drums gear bag and some more fun stuff!

I think both BFD and Superior Drummer are excellent choices. They would be my top two. Drumcore and Battery could be interesting as well.

Haven't picked up any Ocean way kits so Battery would be my first choice, Halion one next. Oh ultrabeat/logic is fine too...:)

Thanks,

Another Battery vote here.

Here too.. we seem to be winning :D

Voted for Drumcore. Kontakt is my main sampler for drums but I also use DC quite often in my projects. It would be great to have OWD available in DC format.

I voted BFD, and would also champion Toontrack's Superior as both have great flexibilities re routing and parameter control, have great internal effects, and BFD 2 has a superb groove engine.

Both! ...And others too IMHO tbh, as I'm sure there are potential users that would jump for their chosen sampler to host such excellent kits.

Sole vote for Drumagog so far. If not the 'gog then get together with ToonTrack again and work on something to fit OWD into their drum replacer. Everybody and their mother probably has Kontakt after the K5 blitz, so now just let us have an easy way to do drum replacement with OWD, and Drumagog is still more the standard for non-ProTools folks as far as I can see.

Iam completely for BFD2 .. have Superior 2.1 and Steven Slate with kontakt ... BFD2's engine is really nice and works great with my e-drums.

If the sfz is feasible, it is supported in quite a few good products.
Cheers :)

Oh yeah, speaking of e-drums... My vote is contingent upon that upcoming update that covers more than just the TD-20 being released of course.

I don't own BFD and I'm not likely to, but because of the quality involved, that seems like a natural fit.

Drumcore would also be an excellent fit because it would add real 'ease of use' to a high quality sample set.

Ditto Addictive drums, though tweaking in AD can get rather complex.

Cheers

BFD 2 and Superior 2 - you should do both. I voted the latter because I thought BFD2 version was already likely.

Post

I went superior because, er, it's what I have

EZdrummer would be great, but I can't see that engine having enough detail for what I believe are very detailed kits??
