Hi again fellows,

Since we're done with the implementation of the major features now, it's time to fix bugs, write documentation and create presets to show off the power of this "monster"

Since a synthesizer is nothing without useful presets, we teamed up with the following sound designers who are very experienced and skillful in sound design:

1. The Electronic Gargen (Scot Solida)
2. Le Lotus Bleu (Lotuzia)
3. Xenos Soundworks (Brian "Xenos" Lee)
4. CFA-Audio (Cyforce)
5. Our own Teoman Pasinlioglu (He's a part of KV331 Audio, and a real synth wizard!)

And of course I'll prepare at least 100 "tutorial" presets to explain how sound design is done with SynthMaster 2.0

Let's hope all this talent will help SynthMaster 2.0 to become a real hit!

Sorry but PAN is still not working! In former betas L/R was interchanged. Now it works more like a Mono-Stereo-Expanded Stereo effect.

Hi folks,

We have a new release

This new version 1.9.9.11 has the following updates:

1. NEW: Now the archive file includes the "Quick Start Manual" as well. Although the manual is only 9 pages right now, I'm hoping to finish it by Friday.
2. NEW: Added triplet/dotted tempo sync controls to LFOs.
3. NEW: We have 20 more presets created by FragileX, which brings our total preset count to 70, including Ingonator's previous 50. You guys just rock!
4. FIX: LFO step/glide mode: Volume has no effect
5. FIX: Changing preset browser filter and load a different preset crashes SynthMaster Standalone/VST.

BUG: Creative ASIO runs only at 48KHz, and Synthmaster output on VST and Standalone appears transposed up a few cents. I gather this means there's no resampling algo as of yet, or it currently only supports 44KHz?

Question: How to adjust unison spread?

No it supports 48k as well. Will checkout this problem.

For unison spread, just modulate parameters with MIDI Velocity. I gave an example on that on the quick start manual, check it out!

On the contrary, quite simple:

1. If you are an existing licenced owner, and participate in beta testing for v2.0, you wont pay a dime for upgrading

Beta testing v2.0 is only possible for owners of v1.0. Why dont you just get it for $39 and we'll send you the necessary info

BTW, let me make a clarification here for existing owners: Just participate in beta-testing, even by trying out v2.0 and sharing your thoughts

We wont charge any upgrade fee for v1.0 users! We'll send their license keys as soon as we release v2.0 next month.

We are very delighted to announce the arrival of SynthMaster 2.0 Standalone Demo for Windows. The download link for the standalone demo application is:

After downloading, extract contents of this archive to a folder, no installation is necessary for it to run, just click on the SynthMaster2.exe executable and you're good to go

SynthMaster 2.0 Demo is identical to the standard version of SynthMaster with 2 exceptions:

1. Saving presets is disabled
2. The synth mutes volume and outputs white noise at every minute.

Here's what users have been saying about SynthMaster 2.0 by the way:

i thought about programming some patches. Before starting that now i realized what a MONSTER synth this is. And i thought that Waldorf Largo (my current favorite) has many features... Looks a bit like combining the best features of synths like Zebra, Alchemy, Tassman 4, Absynth, Kubik and Synthedit. Very impressive.

It really is a no brainer Even the first version is a lot better than expected - so thank you for drawing my attention and all the best for the release of version two.

the skinning is very interesting as it seems it will end up as many different synths all made from SynthMaster Cool exciting times!!

I have to say, though, after checking out the new skin idea... this is truly revolutionary, because the skins are presets themselves, so you can have templates without having to look at all the other parameters and place only what you need. f**king AMAAAAAAAZING !!!!! If it's been done before, I haven't seen it. And if it hasn't then others will be copying it for sure sometime.

For those of you wondering about the VSTi Demo version for Windows, it is coming up in a couple of days. Until then, just play around with the standalone

Congratulations! The sad thing is the VSTi release will coincide with a vacation in NYC so I'll have to wait.

Thank you! We hope that the folks here at KVR will pretty soon realize the price/performance ratio of this synth can not be matched by other $$$ synths
