I updated Enchoir to v1.4! The volume problem has been fixed, the choir modes are now user-loadable, so far there are 8 modes (more to come in future) and the phrase-recording/playback can now be triggered manually using the modwheel!
The new Demo will be online in the next hours, links to existing customers including PFL-users will be sent out as well!

That's great.
The only thing is that before, when the 8 preset buttons were visible, it was very simple to audition the different sounds. Just press a button and audition, press another and audition etc. Now it looks like we'll need to load the presets which is slower.
Could you bring back the buttons and only enable the load for the user presets?

Actually it's not slower - simply two mouse clicks and a different choir mode is loadedyairhol wrote:That's great.

Sweet! Thanks for the update. Playing with the new sounds now.
Questions/Suggestions:
The docs need some cleanup, the English translation is a bit strange in places. for instance there's no word such a "shrinken".
I think you need to use a fixed-width font to match it up with your "choir file" background. Maybe find a free-font you can include for people who want to install it. (it should fall back to something else if its not installed, of course)
How does "vibrato" work?
Phrase mode doesn't seem to be working for me, I must be doing something wrong, maybe you could elaborate a bit?

Just wanted to say thanks for allowing us to get Enchoir at the $27 price that was a nice gesture to let us forgo the wait. Hopefully with this new update you will attract a new group of purchasers.
I like the update sound quality seems to be improved and the new Cki files sound nice.
I like the new phrase mode very cool any chance that in manual mode you could mute the input?
Here's my logic and the way I see myself using this plug. I doubt that I would actually use it live with a microphone, but rather duplicate my lead vocal track load Enchoir on that track and play the backups. So in manual mode it would be way cool if when you grabbed a snippet that's all you heard until you released it or grabbed another? Not sure if this is clear?
My thought is that I could play along with the vocal track then on the last phrase of say the chorus use the mod wheel to grab that phrase and possibly play that over the next verse. As it is now you would get a mix of the choir verse and snippet. I guess this would require automating phrase mode enable?
Say CC 1 64 enables phrase mode 127 sets record 0 releases phrase mode for normal operation? Throwing this out for the sake of discussion, others may have very different ideas about this.
Any chance we will be able to create our own files to load in Enchoir?
Some thing else that might be way cool, possibly beyond the scope of this project would be if you could have some type of control over sustain or possibly stretch or a hold function?
Regardless very nice you've put together.

also Choirstyle Knobs also not working nothing happens
Stereo Width & Breath i dont get this nothin happens
When I tryed them in the Demo Version thy also where not working ...
but i thouhgt that would be an limitation off the demo....
sonicfire : it would be nice if you could make some Presets
to show some examples if you take an normal Vocal Sound
That would maybe Help ....
Now I Changed The CKi Files but nothing changed
The Demo Version had a few buttons for that and three of then Worked...

Weaz have you tried this?
Update instructions: ver 1.4
Copy all *.CKi files from your program files\enchoir - folder to your Host's "VSTPlugins\Enchoir" directory. Also copy the attached new CKi files to this place.
It should look like:
c:\program files\yourVSThost\vstplugins\Enchoir <--- CKi-files must go here
c:\program files\yourVSThost\vstplugins\Enchoir.dll
After this you can delete the Enchoir folder from your program files.

Hi sonicfire! Glad to see that your product is sustaining such great interest. I see that the offer is good until the 21st? From what I can see here, you are improving the product vastly as time goes on. In that case, do you always have the very latest version available to download and DEMO? If so, I might just have to check this out again!
