Never heard of him, but according to an article in August's Sound On Sound, Armin Van Buuren is a world class DJ who knows his trance, and explains it all in this feature. Not my thing, but I always like sharing good stuff with those who might be interested. The piece is on page 126.

A quick perusal of the article reveals that he is open to tarnce of all kinds, always seeking the next level of tarncnicity. My eye caught one tip in particular, which was to restrict one's self to a small amount of gear -- hardware or virtual -- to increase creativity. The monkeys may not like this.debra1rlo wrote:I don't wish to hunt down the article, so please answer one question: Does it once and for all settle the question "what's the best vst for tarnce?"

It's f**king heresy is what it is! Everyone knows whoever has the most (and coolest) gear WINS! Distances are shorter in the Overmind. It's the snacks that cause delays.eduardo_b wrote:This may require a long journey as this gear heretic lives in The Nederlands.debra1rlo wrote:It's f**king heresy is what it is!
