Ik multimedia totalworkstation 2 (i count this only one becouse one player plays all libraries),and i add maybe
addictive drums (or something for basic rock/jazz drum sounds orchestral,ethnic stuff is good to me even totalworkstation 2),but definitely blue,albino and oddity. if i can add 6th i add i think minimonsta or imposcar.

Seems like a plugin is literally what you'd need, seeing as how your laptop battery probably wouldn't last a day.

At first I thought, "oh great, another what's your favorite nnn" thread, but the "desert island twist actually made me take a look at what I use. Other than the bundled FX that come with SONAR (my host), I really *only* use a little more than 5 plug-ins! This exercise will really help me be lean and mean when I setup my new PC later this year (waiting for Win 7).

Anyway, my desert island 5:

• 1. Jamstix 2 (will upgrade to 3 without a doubt)
  2. Izotope Trash
  3. Reaktor
  4. A sampler/sample player (Aria Player?) to play my Garritan sample libraries (GPO, JABB, Steinway, etc.)
  5. Up until recently I would have unequivocally said FM7 for #5, but I just got Alchemy, which is making it's way to my favorite synth list. So, it's a toss-up between the two ATM
