I loaded up the now more famous Ocean Way 10-2 Medium drumkit, then loaded one of the beat/loop kits from the free Kontakt Player3, and while jewel hunting, discovered a key-combo that revealed a non-drum instrument, playing a different rythm on each of the 26 keys below the key-combo. Playing among these 26 did not cancel each other out, so complex syncopated patters are possible. Also, notes played above the key-combo appear to apply modified eq, and extra sounds/beats to the standard key press sounds, and may allow loop-beats that canceled each other out, to be played with syncopation. To confuse things even more, releasing one of the key-combo keys while holding certain beat-loop keys, appears to reassign the beat-loop, and allow it to be played in syncopation with other beat-loops, that otherwise would have been canceled out, for some fun beat-building sonic mahem. I think one must just hit the record button and go for it, then slice out the keepers, there is way too much going on to describe briefly, or with precision. Happy hunting :-o :hihi:
(this may all be standard fare for Kontakt veterans, but its all new to me  )

I haven't installed KP 3.5 yet (and still have to install full Kontakt anyway) but for those who don't want to go hunting could you let us know more details please? Thanks!

Mod edit -Protected the spoiler. Highlight below if you'd like to know:

Open Kontakt Player 3.5 on an 88 note keybed, with the amazingly free OW 10-2 Medium kit installed as a multi, and then open the Green Bag.nki from the Urban Beats folder in the Free Kontakt Player 3.5 content,
set it to omni, press and hold D6, then press and hold B6, then try the 26 notes below the key combo, and an octave or so of notes above the key-combo, try releasing one of the combo keys sometimes, do all this while recording, in case you find some keeper-quality loop material, or a beat worthy to hold down long enough to cut-n-paste to itself a few times for a longer track
Cheers :)

Thank you. I was going to quote your post but that would be cruel :P Edit - but I protected it anyway :)
