I maintain Catching The Waves for fun and to thank musicians for making such great free music. Anything else is a bonus. Well, I got one. :o

Creativecommons.org, the organisation responsible for encouraging and expanding a sharing culture around the globe, has a microblog on Twitter and, well, it must have had a slow news day:

"@creativecommons Catching The Waves (@catchingthewave) is an awesome music blog featuring tons of great CC-licensed music: http://bit.ly/1fpXhP"

Thanks, CC! Now, you must excuse me. I'm off to polish my ego. :hihi:

Yeah, but Country??!!

Your KVR ban is under consideration...

;)
I don't care what genre it is. If I like it, it goes in. Even C&W!

As for the ban? Don't taze me, bro. :hihi:
:)

I was kidding, plenty of country (or C&W-influenced) tunes close to my heart. Been known to drunkenly declare 'Witchita Lineman' as the greatest 45 ever released.

Great tune. Only "The Combine Harvester" by The Wurzels comes close.

I hate to break this to you but there's a fresh review of a free Creative Commons album at Catching The Waves. I know neither of us asked for this - but your father's shotgun is insistent.

Catching The Waves has taken it upon itself to rehabilitate a habitual offender with a review of a free and funky slice of electronic fun. You are welcome to have a gander or to curl your lip in disdain and instead enjoy all the many delights that KVR has to offer - such as polite discussions about Reaper. :hihi:

The thrust of this latest article at Catching The Waves won't be new to most KVR members, but one or two might find the gazillions of free & legal CC samples to be useful. :)
