Have you shipped boxes to the american retailers yet?

FXpansion USA shipped boxes out last Friday to retailers who had orders. Most shipping would be done by overnight, unless the retailer has specific and different instructions.

Hmmm, don't know about stratospheric superiority. There's an old saying in software development that the first 90% of the code writing effort takes 90% of the time. The remaining 10% also takes 90% of the time. This applies equally to the results of that effort: as models get better and better so more and more power is going into smaller and smaller details. For some people these details aren't important. For others (particularly people who like what analogue offers over digital) they are*. It remains to be seen whether synthsquad offers more of these details than the previous generation. Listening to orca and andy's thoughtful posts, I think it might well do and I await the demo with interest.

* and to clarify, I'm not implying in any way that the latter group has superior judgment or taste. It's just a preference, like ketchup vs mustard.

I would certainly say so. My other VA softsynths have suddenly started to sound really weak and/or murky in comparison to Synth Squad. I'm not the first tester I've heard that from either. I think once some people here have spent time with Synth Squad and go back to their old favorites, they're going to be finding the same thing.

I'm experiencing same thing with recently purchased Virus Powercore. Although I have some real analogues and HW VA's as well, I really like sound of Virus. Dunno about DCAM, do I need it or not...
