Greetings!

1) DAW click tracks connected to rumble pads (with built-in electric shocks for straying too far from the click).

2) Audio track humaniser plug-in mimicking various levels of substance misuse.

3) A vocal track extractor based on word spelling/pronunciation recognition.

Please feel free to add your own...

The next level: move on to another room.

Make a mechanical rhythm machine. It's not that hard to make something similar to a music box with bicycle parts and percussion instruments.

Record two complete songs at the same tempo in the same key. Slice quarter note, 8th note and 16th note length sections from one song and replace random sections of the other song with these slices.

Then record two more songs in the same tempo/key and repeat the process.

Take the two songs with inserted slices and repeat the process with randomly selected slices.

Do all that again.

Buy a full Kyma system and then morph the two songs together controled by a mix of the songs that had slices removed from them.

Check into rehab because by now you will have gone completely insane.

Then modulate a vocoder with the synth, processing the audio output of the original drum track.

Make sure you automate some filter cutoff on the synth, doing sweeps and things...and then post the results here :D

Spectrasonics did this already, then sampled the hell out of it...

My suggestion, and it's a simple one; render your track to audio, then copy the render to 10 different tracks. Wind down the volume on 9 of them, then apply choice FX to the back 9. Then, using crossfades, bring the back 9 in and out under your main audio track.
