You are very honest on this, but I wouldn't call it "clear". You are probably scaring away lot's of potentional customers with this, don't you think? It's just too unclear on what your future plans are with this..7Aliens wrote:red37 wrote:Why not? Nothing at all...7Aliens wrote:NoAloysius wrote:Are there planned updates to the VST itself? I have a full copy! Thanks . . .
To be clear: there are possible changes (there is a lot of new
features for at least 2 versions) but it depends on how many
people will be interested in it. It's the new concept and
any decision has to wait for 2 weeks approximately.

For some reason the demo cannot be found in Orion but I had to remove it as Orion crashed every time I opened it.
Pity, as I was looking forward to this.

A little tip for all people using Cubase 4/5 AND who want to record/edit the Midi data out of Catanya in ONE click
Track one : Insert Catanya on a midi track
Track two : Insert ImpOSCar ( or any other Vsti) Set Midi in as Catanya.
Select both tracks ( with shift )
Until now this is just the basic process to play Catanya in Cubase.
Now just record ( both tracks are in default record enable mode) : The first track ( Catanya ) will record your midi input data (ie what you play ) and the second one ( Imposcar ) will now record the midi outpout of Catanya, making it ready to edit
Note : You can also edit the first track midi data ( catanya ) and then record only the midi output of Catanya by recording only the second track ( Vsti)
This makes imho the export as midifile quite useless but well .... you decide
( if you still want a midifile you can export the render with C4 )

Will I also get the mac version if I buy the Windows version, or will I need to buy an additional license for the mac version?7Aliens wrote:MAC version is just planned right now. It won't be released sooner than in the version 2.0.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Again, will it ever go mac?
If I don't have to pay for two licenses, I may want to used it on the bootcamp XP for composition, and arrange and mix on OSX till the mac version comes out.

That sounds pretty good. Are you using a demo or a full version of Catanya?iskandar wrote:messed around with it today for a bit.
